Daevos does over 2k per double swing to me with Omen, I doubt that's 25%.

Damage:
Without Omen: 641
With Omen: 972
So it basically increases damage by roughly 51.6 percent. That's actually better than I thought it was. Maybe I should test it more though, there may be more difference.

About lich and how overpowered it is.

I guess the problem is that knights do too much damage against non-knights, and tank too much against knights.
Asarnil2005-03-18 18:38:01
Actually the biggest problem for blademasters is someone who is trans combat.
Stance lower, parry head - how the HELL are we supposed to kill them?

I did these tests having a Nihilist damage me, because their damage attacks stay at a constant rate and don't fluctuate like that a Warrior does.
If Neither: 100% (813)
Omen: 150% (1.5 * 813 = 1219 rounded down)
Sensitivity: 133% (1.33 * 813 = 1081 rounded down)
Omen + Sensitivity: 1.5 * 1.33 = 199.5% (1.995 * 813 = 1621 rounded down)
Edit: fixed my figures - I blame lack of sleep!

Just what are you implying huh?
I used to be able to last a couple of minutes vs certain occies and snakes in Achaea (yeah, it's a big accomplishment to me, especially since most of my combat experience was out of the arena, so shush), though you probably wouldn't believe it to look at me here. Never did manage to kill them raiders except for once though, and then he claimed it was due to lag. Raised my hopes for nothing.
Besides, there's a difference between combat and maths, hehe.

Well excuse me for thinking you were bitching again your highness, and I've beaten Narsrim, Tuek and Ethelon before, not Amaru sadly.
Hehe, where was I Thorgal? You have never beaten me alone, I did die to a group you were in, where there was four of you, but never in one-on-one. Don't claim skill when it takes a group to beat one person.

Dude, what the hell are you rambling about, Omen does NOT double damage, or even close to it, all it does is up damage taken by about 25% for 10 seconds, that's all.
Athletics puissance adds 100% damage on the next jab, Omen adds roughly 25% for 10 seconds.

I guess that time where you had to trueheal, and kept the barrier up to call in Elaria to help you against me didn't count .
Ethelon2005-03-23 00:39:38
heh, as I've explained before, and Amaru though this was funny, as did others. I had my reflex for barbedtail to diag, so, seeing as how you use the same skill over and over like a newb, my system kept me from doing anything but curing, which is why I had to ask for help. If you recall Thorgal, a few days later, after I fixed the reflex problem, I did kill you easily. If I get to consider it a kill each time an enemy runs away or calls for help and got experience for it, I'd be titan by now, along with Amaru and probally Daevos.

The point is obvious, but that's such an exaggeration that I have to say something. Im lvl 81, and killing you, or Amaru, or even Daevos 50 times doesnt give me crap. Maybe a couple percent for a ton of high level kills, maybe. Considering how lvl 93 is roughly halfway to 100, well, you get the idea.

Pk exp gain is crappy here.
In Achaea it was a viable career.
Le sigh.

It could be said, Ixion, that this makes sense, because you never lose any exp either. Not a bad deal.

OK I know little about combat. Correct me if I am wrong but:
Trueheal:
Heals afflictions, deep wounds, and health mana etc.
Returns eq and balance.
Creates a barrier which blocks attacks
Can be performed off eq and balance
Cost 8p?
Correct me if I am wrong:
Lich:
Can be implemented in advance
Brings you back to life without exp loss
Can be stripped
Cost 10p?
If you ask me, as an objective an unknowledgable guy, they both seem overpowered. But if they both are, they're balanced. So meh. I feel sorry for moon and stag.
EDIT: Sorry should have added, that was with regards to Amaru saying Lich was overpowered.

Trueheal costs 10p. Lichdom costs whatever is left in your prompt in addition as well, so you are better off using up all your feats in the heat of battle in case you do die. You can't trueheal if you don't have 10p, so Trueheal is slightly behind Lichdom in total escapability. Also you can run away unable to be harmed while a spirit before you actually form into a Lich, whereas Trueheal you are trapped in the same room and there is no guarantee of escape.
