I designed Erion to be the sort of person I'm not. People fling insults, I'll ignore them, occasionally one or two might hurt me. Erion will use those insults as a shield. Call him Faeslayer because it hurts, but what if it doesn't hurt anymore? To call him Faeslayer now would be almost a compliment. Erion wasn't proud of that instance, but he does enjoy the daily trips to the Ethereal to kill the knights, girl, and butter to feed to Gorgulu for power.

Meh, the only thing I can find disagreeable is the whole "I can use karma to pwn you" thing that I've heard/seen you do. Gives me the image that you can't take care of your own interests without game mechanisms.

Excuse me? I think you've misinterpreted my entire arguement, I'm extremely anti-Karma. I don't like the fact that I could curse someone with 5 karma and make them spend 100 to lift it, etc.

I've never cursed anyone. Waste of Karma. I rarely even use the blessings, and when I do it's just Harmony.

Edit: But recently I've taken the stance that, because I know it won't just be torn out, that the pk suspect bit is okay, once we start to get rid of all these suspects. As long as I don't get suspect for defending while raiding, or off-plane, I think we're cool.

I am always amazed and gratified that there are people out there who want to play an absolute and enjoy it, yet still have enough chops to step back and make sure that what they're doing isn't crossing that blurry, moving line between being a foil for other characters, and being a source of displeasure for the players.

That's a very hard job. You don't always sit on that blurry moving line, but you come as close as nearly anyone does. My vote was for "they even out", but I vote that way with respect for the magnitude of the challenge.

My moods lightening a little, to see that, even though a lot of the people offering their opinions aren't people I particularly like, talk to, and/or care about, they're mostly favourable. I'm glad there are some people that can seperate OOC and IC, and not everyone seems to hold the opinion that apparantly a couple people do.

It was intended as a compliment, with some reservations, but hey, no one's perfect. On balance a compliment though.
