How much does anyone want to bet that Shiro somehow found out about them getting a new skillchoice early, and has been sitting here for days with that window prepared just waiting for the moment it got implemented so he could hit the create new topic button.

Underpowered! Useless!

I hear the trans skill is toadburst, which is like toad curse, only you get propelled 5 rooms away from the person who does the skill, hence the "burst" part.

I don't think you should post a real skill list

Kudos Roark on the great work. I'm sure it'll be awesome, I convinced Gregori to forget runes, and it seems awesome so far! Nothing like new skills to get everyone excited.

Well you better like it. This was the hardest thing I've coded for IRE.

They should all feel really priviliged, then.
Code me a bathtub with that much effort, and I'll have your chillun.

This just in, Roark has sworn never to code for Lusternia again.

He's going to change his mind, I bet he's an addict already.

I predict this over the next few days.
Dreamweaving right now:
Dreamweaving in a week: (Nerf stick. Get it?)
Roark, when he sees his baby:

Yeah, this is going to get RIPPED APART within days of people calling it broken 'cause they have no way to deal with it, and people saying it's awful because they have no idea how to use it.
Asarnil2005-03-20 02:38:08
I find it enormously funny you got that in before his not-so-lightning edit Erion.
Oh and Shiro, don't spoil my illusion of you - I could just imagine you sitting there like an 8 year old suffering from ADD and tanked up on red cordial bouncing on your chair for a day and a half going "Has it happened yet" over and over and over, just to shout "WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO" as soon as it did whereupon you added the name of the guild who won and hit add new topic.
Yes I know that the image is totally unrealistic, but it makes me grin nonetheless.

Oh and I am waiting for Shiro's contribution to the Ghost thread where he still demands Necro Ghost gets nerfed even though we haven't got any abilities that can attack while ghosted like dreamweavers can.
Unknown2005-03-20 02:40:00
It only shows how much of a total moron you are, leave me alone please.

I've looked over all the skills in it up to gifted.
And my 5-minute analysis says that once everyone learns to keep Kafe and Insomnia up, scatter flamed eye sigils all over, and use that Kether thing, this skillset will be worthless.
Most of its attacks are single-afflictions, that cost power, making then more easily cured that hexes but far more expensive. The only advantage to the skillset it the secrecy, which will be hardly worth anything once, as I said, eye sigils come into play more and the rest of the Mages get Dreamweaving. Of course, there could very well be some ultra-powerful skills later on in the set.
My horrible, biased, innacurate score:
Usefulness: 2/10
Awesomeness: 140,000,000/10
I went into Dreamform and abused Bricriu at the Megalith until I ran out of Willpower and she killed me. Pure sweetness.
And hell, Runes was worthless anyway.
(Please note that I don't know the first thing about combat and anything I say regarding it is wrong)

Now Shiro...not nice to be so mean to yourself.
As for Dreamweaving, I'm fairly annoyed, RP wise. Some newbie, fairly fresh from portals - made just a short while after the dreams started, thus, right before the new skill choice, randomly comes into Magnagora, and tries to hurt me with it.
Granted, I've never met this newbie, never talked to them, or threatened them, even knew they existed - but they randomly walk into Magnagora to hit me with their new skills. Three Cheers for AWESOME RP.
