Agreed.
Silvanus2005-03-20 06:29:11
There is a differnce. They rob without the use of bugs, while the dreamweavers robbed with the use of bugs.

Can't rogues lich?

No. I tried using Lich (Having a goodly power reserve amount) a while back, and I, apparently, dont have the right kind of power. So you need to be a Magnagoran citizen. And if you do rob a store as a Magnagoran citizen (which I was accused of once, thank god people were around to check the stores), dont bother hiding. Just crucify yourself and cram a broom in there, because once the Ur'Guard finish with you..

Edit: To clarify that, you can lich if you had the defence up before you quit the city, as I did when I heartstopped because of food apparently not working. Works as normal. Just cant put it back up again.

So, Quidgyboo, would I be justified in going on a theft spree for packs to help make up for my 150k+ loss?

Do what you want, I'm just saying that many many non-Magnagoran shop owners have been experiencing this for ages.
Unknown2005-03-20 06:37:00
Bah, I went to just about every shop and could only make off with a bucket that has 2 months left on it.

I missed it. sad.gif
Drago2005-03-20 06:37:31
Ok. "Experiencing this" as a quote.

Eye sigils have always stopped SOULS (not ghost, you can't ghost through doors) entering rooms. This was known, you didn't make the effort to stop it.

A lot of Magnagoran shops had eye sigils in them anyway and got stolen from by a person in dream body.. which shouldn't have happend (And they had Tenqual test, he could get past the eye sigil) meaning there was a misweave, meaning they used a bug to rob the shops.

Cry me a river.

No, really, I need a bath.
Drago2005-03-20 07:18:26
Perhaps I'll lift my restrictions on theft then and we'll see how quickly people start to complain.

A bit of OOC - IC experiment?

Won't someone please think of the role play? The role play!!!!

And the children.

It's funny how they all accuse magnagorans of being mostly thugs and thieves, and the first they do when they get the chance, is the exact same thing they accuse us of tongue.gif.

This skillset looks pretty good.

Now that dreamweaving is all behind us finally, let's focus on the more important aspects of Lusternian life:

Racial emotes, more specifically groom and hairball for aslarans, I can't remember how I lasted without them this long.

THUG!

Serenwilders are not thugs, we are aloof highly trained and well-deserving stealth artists.
Asarnil2005-03-20 12:11:47
Strange, I thought that was Yrael's title.
Unknown2005-03-20 12:21:56

Stealing from shops using a bug is so low.

I've just announced in-game that for now stealing using Dreamweaving is considered bug abuse. There are a number of issues with the abilities and the ways they're meant to be blocked by eye sigils, which We are working to fix. Once they have been We will let you all know.
