I HOPE everyone who abused this bug meets with a most severe punishment. "You stole from us (using skills the way they were designed) which makes it OK for us (to do it abusing an OBVIOUS bug)" is the lamest thing I have ever, ever heard. You are an embarrassment to the rest of the players of this game.

I'm not going to say don't compare dreamform and ghost, because they -are- similar. However, remember that when you ghost, you take your body with you, and only kether/violet/burst can hit it. When we dreamform, our bodies are lying somewhere open to attack. And if you think the willpower drain is bad when you ghost and unghost within and area, think what it is when you have to dreamform across the continent in a safe area, then walk wherever you want to go.

I've been watching most people as they test it, your all confused.
Shiri2005-03-20 21:04:14
Like the knights are ALL confused, eh Hajamin? tongue.gif

Yeah. Something I noticed, also, is that alot of things that should be showing up are invisible. For example, Shinza swung her swords at me a few times, and I didn't 'see' her doing(I was in my Dreambody) but I noticed my health drop. Also, Possess isn't working quite right, but I'll tell that to the Divine.
Sylphas2005-03-20 21:05:44
You're asleep, you can't see what's happening to your body. Makes sense to me.
Shiri2005-03-20 21:06:13
But you're like...floating right above it!
Sylphas2005-03-20 21:06:57
Ah. I thought he meant if you were away from it. Yes, that does sound odd then.
Soll2005-03-20 21:12:05
Perhaps one last suggestion.. (hide.gif) If you are away from your body, and you get hit, perhaps have it warn you? Or have a certain skill in Dreamweaving that protects your body/alarms you if your body is attacked. Something like:

You reel in pain as you sense your body is in danger.'

Attacks should be seen in third person perspective when you're in the same room as your body.
Would be cool seeing it that way. smile.gif

It wouldn't look right. tongue.gif

You can see your health dropping already. If it worked for every action you need to declare for, you would probably get a lot of false alarms. laugh.gif
Soll2005-03-20 21:34:38
Nah. Just ones that do damage.
Unknown2005-03-20 21:37:11
So it's not needed, just watch your health.
Sylphas2005-03-20 21:39:27
And make sure to check, because dropping health doesn't trigger a prompt or anything.
Unknown2005-03-20 21:41:27
You're right. doh.gif
Soll2005-03-20 21:41:35
Thing is, though, if you don't get warned, you'd very likely die. If Daevos, or Ixion, or someone who does high damage fast finds your body, you could die before you see the prompt change. With a warning you could atleast Coalesce before you die.
Soll2005-03-20 21:42:00
Perhaps make it an on/off skill with a mana/will drain?
Sylphas2005-03-20 22:04:11
Well, not sure if it's a bug, but if you dreamform in a saferoom, your body is untouchable. You can be hit with violet/kether/burst, but your physical form is safe as can be.
Sylphas2005-03-20 22:05:40
Oh, and make damn sure you're on a monolith, because your body can be summoned, unless you trigger the summon message to coalesce.
