Does your soul get the summon message?
Sylphas2005-03-20 22:09:35
Yes.
Unknown2005-03-20 22:50:08
You shouldn't get the summon message, in my opinion. And secondly, I don't feel you should be able to DREAMWEAVE LEAVEBODY in a saferoom. Also, you should NOT get a warning when your body is attacked. That is the whole point. There needs to be some risk involved afterall.
Hajamin2005-03-21 00:09:41
If you get the summon message, that's a bug. You should get NO messages of things done to your sleeping body... boy did THAT sound wrong.
Aebrin2005-03-21 00:31:16
your dreambody should feel the pain the corporeal body does if you're away, thus making you rush back to your corporeal body.
Aebrin2005-03-21 00:31:31
Besides, you wake up if someone kicks you.
Unknown2005-03-21 00:33:15
I don't believe you wake up if someone hits you while you are dreamwalking.
Bricriu2005-03-21 00:35:08
I think he means normally.

You don't. But it's a nice feature for enemies that found your corpse though. Also it seems aeon does affect the dream form if cast on the body.
Bricriu2005-03-21 00:38:48
It would be nice if Thirdeye could spot those nasty little dreamforms on WHO, or, if there was some skill added to discernment so you could see who is sleeping, or, dreamwalking.

Who cares where he is, you can see where is body is with thirdeye. Kill the body, dreamform is gone, problem solved.
Geb2005-03-21 00:46:39
Scry with thirdeye will show where the sleeping body is. It just does not tell you that the person is sleeping. You can use chockmah or the low magic equivalent to find out who is harassing you, then use scry with thirdeye to locate his sleeping body.
* Darn that godly reply speed.

Yes, kill that person sleeping at their nexus with 20 guards! It can be done!
Hajamin2005-03-21 00:54:31
Summon them, send one of your dreamweavers into kill them. Or just kether them, or a hundred other ways to deal with them.

How can that be done if there was a monolith and an eye sigil in the room?
Summer2005-03-21 00:56:50
Edit: Nevermind, got ninjaed.
Ceres2005-03-21 00:59:25
Yeah, gotta admit that doesn't quite work, Haj-meister.
Unknown2005-03-21 01:16:06
Easy-ish fix: don't allow snapping back to your body on a monolith/eye!
Shiri2005-03-21 01:21:44
Also, you can't summon someone out of a nexus. It's in their city.
Bricriu2005-03-21 01:23:44
I'd post a big Duh here, but people beat me to it.
Anyhow, even if it's not Thirdeye, a skill to see everyone dreamwalking would be useful, or, if not dreamwalking, at least sleeping.
