Back to Common Grounds.

*giggle* That's funny, it looks like that all the demesne guilds get bossed around. Hartstone gets treated similarily from time to time.
Thorgal2005-03-21 11:36:57
The bossing around has one reason: demesnes.
Llexyn2005-03-21 13:13:21
Thanks for the valid reasoning behind the master's demands and orders to the slaves!

I knew it was a genius one... The mages must really be just idiots! Duh! doh.gif

IC: Ixion and other ur'Guard are pretty pissed at the geos. They tried to regulate the quest from what seemed motivated by wanting their names in event news and selfishness. The Ur'Guard were on constant chip monitoring duty and mainly protecting spectre against the aquas getting their pages. Ur'Guard spilt tons of blood for the geos, only to be slapped in the face when the quest neared completion. Someone even had the audacity to ask Ixion as well as the rest of the Ur'Guard to leave earth plane. Last time I checked, he was one of four on the Iron council (of which two are Ur'Guard) as GM. He understands the pride that the geos wanted to claim from the quest, but blackballing a member of the Iron Council, as well as the Council clan is absolutely wrong.

help geomancers:

Even their allies consider Geomancers to be somewhat insane,
as the twisted element they work with often twists their minds as well.

Geomancers seem to put their guild before the city, but they're all insane, so it makes sense smile.gif.

Torak2005-03-21 14:29:36
Meh from an IC perspective I have fought on the cities, and guilds behalf enough times to get information. I had no intrest in joining the quest, but being left in the dark is a major pain in the censor.gif. Torak has saved countless Geomancers in combat and risked himself many times. He has killed multiple intruders on the Earth plane and died quite a few times for it. All thankless duties. No longer will that happen.

That's why Erion and Bricriu were stalking the Earth Plane constantly, doing absolutely nothing but being asses to the Geos, and doing random emotes at the Manifestations.

I am completely comfused as to why I was mentioned in the Events post. The extent of my involvement was asking a few unanswered questions of some mobs and showing up for coven duty.

Well, in our defense for asking people to leave the Earth plane...

We were trying to figure out the order to drop the chips (which was obvious, but everyone forgot we tried the ascending order in the wrong spot tongue.gif) and Ixion was saying, "Give them to Daevos. Let Daevos try." I think that annoyed a few Geomancers, because we were in our "element." And I doubt any Geomancer honestly cared about being in an events post. And if they did, not one person slightly mentioned or hinted to it at all. Everyone was trying to help out to get it done, not to get our names listed in a stupid post that people will ever read once and forget about.
Ixion2005-03-21 16:01:21
Well, I said something to that effect because we were going absolutely NUTS just sitting there for over ten minutes watching nothing happen. I mean, the chips do reset and when we -finally- get all the chips together, some speed in actions would have been nice to see- a sense of urgency. Get it? Got it? Good. It's pretty bad when a voice has to give us a hint.
Veonira2005-03-21 16:23:51
Yeah, it was pretty funny tongue.gif. But like I said, everyone forgot that we had done the real thing in the wrong spot.

Actually, Bric wasn't being JUST an ass. Her job is to keep track of what is going on, and with Ladatine being well...himself, of course she is going to be wary. 'Oh, Sure, Geomancers! Ladantine wants you for his warriors, of course we'll just leave you to do whatever and run off for him!'

Pff, I was the one who said it first on Lisaera's clan. She even said something along the lines of, "Now that's an idea" when I pitched the thought.

Pff, fine.

But you still didn't get in the events post, for some reason. blink.gif Someone should swap you for Cronnacht!

That's... odd, after we killed some gravediggers and found nothing, Jasper went and talked it over with Ridien... who told him to not take it so literally. blink.gif wacko.gif
Niara2005-03-21 17:47:59
Well, a gravedigger queen had the tablet.

huh.gif But... we killed the queen... and even had a death doing so... argh! doh.gif
Vix2005-03-22 01:28:41
Is there more than one gravedigger? I dunno...
