I like it, but the summon would have to not be world wide and the like. Otherwise you'd sell your soul to your buddy for 2 gold and have him summon you out of a pinch via triggers.

The return thing is nuts. Just purchase the soul of a person who's about to go raiding, and then do the return thing when they get attacked. So very very overpowered.

I was thinking of it like vampires from aetolia, who are able to summon thier little ones anytime they want, and force them to do anything they want.

Though, there was a drawback if I recall. Oh yeah, catching on fire, becoming dizzy, and getting confused if they went outside during the day.
