If people want different oppinions to be recognized they should express those opinions during arguments about such topics.
Silvanus2005-03-27 05:26:34
As soon as everyone quits calling Magnagora PK-festers, nothing more then griefers, I'll stop thinking all of Serenwilde is full of "omgz! I want teh Ceelst!" snugglebunnies.
Silvanus2005-03-27 05:27:24
And Alyssandra, if you claim to hate cities as much, why do you never even speak of it? No one, as far as a few of my contacts know of, has said you've hated Celest as much as Magnagora.
Singollo2005-03-27 05:31:57
Oh boy, more Magnagoran players threatening to leave because they're not necessarily going to get their way.
Unknown2005-03-27 05:34:40
Then your contacts arent listening in the right place.
As for not getting involved in arguments, is because I am fed up of most of the same old arguments being dragged up again and again, no matter what people say no one listens so it doesnt matter whether I say that I regularly go and worship Ketheru, people would hear what they wanted to.
Ah well. But its obviously true, the fact that I give my Champion hell every day for marrying a Celestian, or that I have been trying to remove the vehemently anti-taint viewpoint prevelant in Serenwilde as irrelevant at the moment. I obviously love celest and hate Mag with a passion. Thanks for clearing that up.

Oh boy, More generalizers making insulting generalizations about players!

Oh boy, more moderators being oblivious to actual posts:
You know the ones reading "This is the only thing keeping me here." "This will ruin the game."

You do realize Singollo, that Azeal is not a Magnagoran.
Daganev2005-03-27 05:44:22
When you go to the store, and you find a game called Gladiators, Warriors of Rome, and you open the box and find out the game is all about the slave traders who ran gambling parlors and made livings off of the coliseums, is it "threatening to leave because they're not necessarily going to get their way." when the addon pack might give all galdiators deseases and your new job is to cure the illness of everybody?
Faethan2005-03-27 05:44:49
I don't think that saying the return of Gloriana would ruin the game is too unreasonable. Anyone who takes an objective look at game balance would see that another tainted organization is going to be needed, and its not going to be Halifax, Gaudiguch or Ackleberry. Glomdoring is the only option. Not only that, but there is a large population of players who are interested in Glomdoring, much larger, I think, than the group interesting in Gloriana. I'll agree with those who say adding Gloriana would ruin the game.
Singollo2005-03-27 05:47:46
Oops? Maybe if I cared to sift through the lag and just log on to be AFK I'd have maybe figured that out. Instead I decided to jump on the bandwagon and make ignorant accusations! Darn! My Bad!

I would have been smart enough to see what was going to happen and what the game was actually like before I started mouthing off about the quality.
Daganev2005-03-27 05:51:19
Oh teach us wise one.
Singollo2005-03-27 05:54:09
Perhaps some growing up needs to be done first? But anyways, I personally would never grow so bold as to say "This will ruin the game." knowing of a single plot item and not knowing the full situation. I'd have to see the outcome.
How about we all stop the negative, and ignorant, feedback and wait until we can say:
"This did ruin the game."

And I did not say it was my only reason for staying on Lusternia, Singollo, I said it was ONE of my only reason...
And lets all sit back and let things happen , so lets drop this topic and wait a few weeks to see what happens.

The non Taint of Glomdoring is not a "single plot item."
Being told that I'm arrogant just because I have an opinion on what drew me to the game in the first place, is not an issue of giving positice or negetive feedback.
To me it is mind boggling how having an untainted Glomdoring is a good thing for Lusternia.
Thus I argue about it.

Because once we can say that, the game is already ruined and its too late. Duh.

Singollo. Congratulations on making yourself look like a complete jerk in less than 5 posts.
How about that might just be too late then? I don't care what anyone says. If Gloriana comes out instead of Glomdoring, it WOULD majorly suck for Magnagorans, which is why I really doubt it would ever happen. I mean, even consider if Gloriana did roleplay as a commune withdrawn from cities. They'd probably be more willing to side with Serenwilde, and if things stay the way they're going, they would then be indirectly against Magnagora. Could it go another way? Probably. We could all be wrong, and Gloriana could come out and provide balance. But let's be serious here.

All of this talk about Glomdoring somehow "balancing" Lusternia over Glorianna is utter garbage. If Glomdoring were to arise, we can assume that it would be just as opposed to Magnagora as it is to Celest because they are both cities. Ideally, Serenwilde would turn its focus to Glomdoring and vice versa. The same would take place with Magnagora and Celest. However, the bulk of people seem to think that Glomdoring is going to appear and become Magnagora's die hard ally. This wouldn't balance anything. It would make things worse.
If Gloriana was to return, I'd like to see them sickened at Serenwilde and very anti-Seren and at the same time hate Magnagora all the same. People assume that if Gloriana isn't tainted that it will somehow be "pro-Seren." It doesn't have to be.
