All for conflict!

Back to Common Grounds.

I'm so disappointed in this little event.

I didn't know it was in the rights of the Divine to directly interfere in stuff like this.
How can Lisaera make a room, filled with Magnagora's enemies, a SAFE ROOM??

And why didn't the mortals, that were supposed to be a part of this (??), do anything but stand there like idiots while Viravain did all the work?

Someone has to clarify why this happened the way it did and why Magnagora wasn't even given the opportunity to delay it, at the very least. sad.gif

because not everything's about what magnagora wants? tongue.gif

Meh. The fact that any event contains a safe room makes it rigged, and, whether it's to advance a story or not, makes it look very cheap.

For quite awhile the mud has been seen as pro-conflict and to do this is quite the opposite. That's where the argument comes in. tongue.gif

Riiiigghhht.

I'll remember that exact quote next time something happens in favor of Magnagora and Serenwilde isn't allowed to even delay it from happening...

Oh, wait. I forgot. Our patrons have the decency to let the city work it's miraculous ways. smile.gif
Singollo2005-03-26 22:58:04
You mean pissing on the world and then complaining when nobody likes you?
Unknown2005-03-26 23:01:29
I find it funny that the Seren players aren't able to step outside the box and look it from another perspective.

Though I suppose if Viravian was doing the healing and the rest of you were drooling then they couldn't have done much. Still doesn't seem interesting.
Lisaera2005-03-26 23:03:59
It was decided that the Magnagorans grouping to interrupt the event would have caused a problem in our story flow, so we stopped you.

Whining isn't going to help.
Laysus2005-03-26 23:04:47
and if it hadn't been safe... what then?

You all wander into the room, swords, flails, cosmicfires and boulderblasts everywhere. Yes, that would be a room with two Goddesses trying to perform a ritual, and with a load of their followers around. No, it wouldn't have been a stupid thing to do in the slightest.

There were no Safe rooms in the tainting of the Fae event sad.gif

Whine whine whine.

Ess-tee-eff-eww.
Roul2005-03-26 23:09:05
The funny thing is, Magnagorans would've lost less people.
Ialie2005-03-26 23:10:40
Like I said in my last post..

I really wouldn't worrry about this event unless you were from Seren.

Shamarah2005-03-26 23:16:40
Just be patient before you start ranting. Since this is obviously the beginning of some sort of story arc, it'll clearly contain conflict if it's about Glomdoring/Gloriana. You just have to give it a chance to start. Since there was nothing you could do to stop it, anyway, then why does it really matter?

Anyway, how is Lisaera making a safe room to protect Viravain's ritual bad RP, or anything like that?
Soll2005-03-26 23:54:22
Yeah. Lisaera would try to protect Viravain from danger because She gets scared so easily, I'd imagine.
Nyla2005-03-27 00:34:07
I thought Lisaera didnt like Viravain?
Shiri2005-03-27 00:36:07
Yeah, but I think the irritation/dislike Lisaera holds for Viravain isn't enough for her to be spiteful when Viravain is trying to deTaint an ancient Commune.
Lisaera2005-03-27 00:36:28
It's not that Lisaera doesn't like Her so much as She finds Her exasperating and irritating most of the time.
