Exactly, Glomdoritos will own with their demesne because everyone is gonna be confused in the battle. They'll just sit their constantly diagnosing so they can survive and not do anything else. Then the Wicca type people come in with their 1337 entourage and watch everyone not cure anything and die. Then the next day all those scary system coders will have stayed up all night adding new triggers to come and stand a chance while all the others die. Then they'll fight the demesne owner and kill them, then everyone will run in and everyone wll die. Hopefully... Either that or Mother Night will just make a giant lightning bolt fry all the raiders. Which would be cool too.

I wanna see instead of Moonburst we get like black lightning bolts. biggrin.gif

And instead of Moonbeam, LiquidShadow. Instant area-only teleport, goes through monos, stopped by a greater pent. And then we have LivingShadow, which breaks greaterpents and serpents for 100 mana and 0 power.

Then we can set our ents to attack, serpent, flow, run to Hart, Mag army teles in, then they kill Hart and we giggle.

That's Fareneth, not Faethan.

EDIT: Darnit, Erion, you edited without an EDIT: mark so my post works weird.

I meant LOOKS, not works. Stupid misspelling edit.

And what, you're kidding. Instant AND goes through monos? Oi! angry.gif Ours isn't instant, no fair.

Oh wait, you're not serious. *cough* Thought you were for a second, then noticed the 100 mana serpent breaking. tongue.gif

Meh, Glomdoring = no Druid/Wiccan archetype. sad.gif

I'm thinking that if Glomdoring is the area chosen there will be two new archetypes brought out, because as I keep saying, neither of the Nature specializations, let alone the Nature skill itself, makes sense.
Shiri2005-03-31 22:16:36
Well, maybe not Wicca/Druidry, but I still think Nature would make sense. To an extent.
Erion2005-03-31 22:20:05
Why wouldn't it make sense? It's still Nature, just with some Taint thrown in. Nature's still alive and well.
Desdemona2005-03-31 22:22:41
Yeah, a nature twisted and corrupted could spawn a nature skill just as twisted. Druids is a yes, but not wiccans... there are no faes in Ethereal Glom, faes don't like Rowena so it can't be fae related wiccans.
Erion2005-03-31 22:26:49
Yea, I agree. I'm really curious as to what kind of pets the Night Coven's getting, and if they are fae, why the hell.
Shiri2005-03-31 22:28:48
Well, they could enslave them, or something. I don't know. Makes sense to be a Wiccan archetype rather than something else though, because the whole place has been dead so long there's no reason for it to be anything else. Y'know. As in, it'd be strange if they had a...Bard's guild or something, since it wasn't in the history even if it DOES make sense, roughly. I know what I'm on about even if you people don't. *mumble*
Erion2005-03-31 22:36:56
I understand you. Maybe the Fae will look on the Glomdoring as empty of Kethuru, and thus willing to lend them a hand?

It would give the fae a darker aspect, as they were more that way according to our lores anyway. If done properly, of course.
Shiri2005-03-31 22:38:08
Sure. I still think the Fae should just be less cuddly and more mystic and cool in general (this is the sort of time we need Mary back), but I don't think that's going to happen.
Desdemona2005-03-31 22:40:26
If the wiccans from Glomglor were forced to kidnap the fae, then the conflict between the communes would be secured 100%x2. Dark fae would be more interesting. Maybe faethorn realm has some self-serving faes hidden somewhere.
Erion2005-03-31 22:41:56
We're guaranteed conflict anyway. We'll need to kill your fae to get Fae for Mother Night. tongue.gif

I hope there's some sort of Ethereal partition like there is on the Cosms. :/ It'll be HORRIBLE else.
Desdemona2005-03-31 22:48:32
Nah, it would be very proper. If the conflict is limited to Serenwilde v. Glomglor, Ethereal becoming a battlefield between the two would be proper and awesome. It would be even better if Ethereal got expanded with mobs to interact in the different forests (villages). If Magnagora and Celest ever got themselves incorporated into the mix... then yes, it would be lame and a more substantial partition would be NEEDED.
Shiri2005-03-31 22:50:10
Er...no, it wouldn't be awesome, it'd be hell. :/
Desdemona2005-03-31 22:53:48
And since when isn't hell awesome? Lots of fun, imo... if it were a limited area of conflict between communes, but if the whole BASIN went on Ethereal Battlefield... that would be a total pain. All other cities have their cosmic planes where to wage war upon, so they SHOULD leave Ethereal alone. wink.gif
Shiri2005-03-31 22:54:54
Well, I don't need to explain why it wouldn't be awesome, since everyone else can imagine it, I think. tongue.gif
