Are hallucination motes like illusions or something? Or do they just give dementia or something like that?

They're like targetted illusions that (I think) work while the target is asleep.

Someone really needs to explore the potential of embedded hallucination motes, especially in group combat. I'm sure top combatants can avoid most illusions, but anyone with a subpar system would be screwed.
