Aww, Rowena wants to be snuggly.

Actually, I think the yearn for children's television shows like Mrs. Spider. (see the Gloriana v. Glomdoring thread in the polls section to see what I'm talking about).
My dream right now is that the thorn beasts and the swampghast storm the Gloriana, eat the dancing spiders, and tear Gibber's legs off.

If it does "Reverse", like, backfeed, it'll be when she tries to cleanse the ravenwood or Crow or something. And all the power that was in the nexus flows back all tainted and unused.
I can hope.
I can hope.

Next time she asks the Serenwilders to 'focus on the Gloriana' I'm going to be emoting very loudly about Glomdoring eating it.

Eriooooooon. They don't yearn for that.
They yearn for.....biscuits.
They yearn for.....biscuits.

ZOMG. All I have to say is, Lisaera. I really hope you make that biscuit delivery. >:O Else I'll be mad!
And, I won't blame you if you post-pone our biscuit bombardment on unwitting mortals. But we're so doing it.
And give the Oneiroi a biscuit for me.

I say again as I had said before, I think that some people may be going about this with a too closed mind. There is more than one way to interpert yearning, I happen to like uncovering veiled meanings so that was the first thing I thought of. Someone who yearns dosen't have to desire, someone who yearns could pity.
Erion2005-03-31 04:41:12
Everything points towards yearning = wanting. They don't pity the ancient bond, or the source. They want it.
Erion2005-03-31 04:49:44
That was fun. Although the astral dropping is annoying.
Iridiel2005-03-31 14:41:56
Maybe they don't want it to be restored by changing themselves to their own untainted selves, but they want the old bounds to become tainted and then be again bonded to them? Just wild guessing that allows for thinking Glomdoring will come back as tainted...
Like tainting Viravain or something like that? It would be weird to be able to taint a divine anyway, but the taint was supposed to have a lot of strenght in the old times, and maybe that strenght is in the ravenwood node still.
I am just guessing ooc, as I am not involved ic in the plot to recover Gloriana or Glomdoring.

That's what I think. Rowena and Mother Night are always lost in thought, thinking of the old Gloriana. But Rowena has outlined quite perfectly she's not yearning. Although she could just be confused.
I for one am really, really hoping something happens. But from what I remember, when Kethuru left, the taint lost it's aggressive, devouring nature. It wasn't the taint itself, it was the force driving it. So unless Kethuru's hiding in the Ravenwood... o.o
That's it! Kethuru's hiding in the Ravenwood. It undeniably explains absolutely 100% of... nothing.

This, of course, happens while I decide to take a night off.

Not the only one.
