Actually, making damage less dependant on weapon stats would be a vast upgrade to speed knights as well, god knows they can use one. But it can't be TOO much, cause then we get situations like in Achaea, where the only chances to be good as a knight, is with rapiers.

Erm...could you explain that? Are speed knight forgers less able to make strong weapons than strength knight forgers, or something? If it was less dependent on weapon stats, it stands to reason it would be more dependent on things like the STR statistic, which presumably would give strength knights more of an upgrade.

..eh, okay: if warrior damage gets less dependant on weapon stats, it means high damage weapons (flails and broads) will do less damage, and low damage weapons (rapiers) will do more damage, hence upgrade to speed knights.

Oh, I see. But 'cause of my point it sounds like it evens it out. But I guess if STR knights have an advantage from the weapon stats already it stands to reason that the effect of the part of the change you mentioned would be larger than the effect of the part I mentioned. Sooo.
