And... the only other blessing that does damage is Justice, which is pretty bad from what I rememer. I guess it could work, but... meh. All the others are mostly regen or resistance.

Someone please explain to me why is it ok for Ixion or Daevos to average 1800 to 1900 damage a combo out of the 3053 health I possess as a Merian (With wounds to accompany it) with just elemental runes and blessings? Then on the otherside of the coin, Shamarah doing about the same amount of damage with blessings, an 800-credit scepter, and the champion staff artifact is way too much?

Because Shamarah's a mage, and people hate it when mages are on-par with other classes. Haven't you learned anything, Geb?

First of all, Daevos doesn't do that kind of damage, most he's done to me without artifacts/blessings/omen/sensitivty, 1400 damage.

Second of all, Knights don't have passive effects, and have a hard enough time fighting in groups.

Elemental shield, numen, sip frost, a few others do lower heat damage.

It's not okay for Daevos, Murphy and Ixion to do that much damage. Whoever said that? It's not, it's really really not! Heh.

On a more serious note, Shamarah's doing the right amount of damage according to the obvious additions that help increase what his normal staff might be. That's how it goes. Mages with arties hurt. Knights with arties hurt too. Ixion has a 3k haymaker.

I am going by the statements people made that Daevos should have been doing even more damage than what he did to me when I showed the log. Nothing wrong with the damage being that high if the right actions are taken to get it that high. Shamarah deserved to have his damage that high after having two blessings, the champion staff, and borrowing Ceres’ Scepter.

On a more constructive note, having either Highmagic or Magic (I forget which) does increase the effectiveness of skills that derive from it, which in this case I would assume means doing more damage.

Then again, being Divine, he could have meant intelligence boost from a TF (you could get one from a herofete as well)
