I was thinking, Lusternia is really lacking something... hellsight. Give asthma and something that slows the curing of asthma, hellsight, you got the good part of the IRE fighting system distilled right there.

Then I thought, things cured by focus spirit work a lot like hellsight. However, they don't work nearly as well overall, because most of the game can't use focus spirit to cure them.

So, I would suggest an overhaul to focus spirit based things. Make focus spirit one of the early skills, and every time you use it, it decreases the amount of time left on the curse your character is under. The trans ability makes it have a chance to cure it instantly like normal, but the things cured by focus spirit need a way to be balanced for more characters.

This would probably require an upgrade to some of the things cured by focus spirit, but that would be fine if more characters have an ability to cure it. I would give the knight classes stronger versions of the focus spirit moves than the classes that have mana killing moves too.

The things cured by focus spirit ALREADY need an upgrade. Dark moon and ancestralcurse, at least. They aren't that good to begin with, and are worthless if you can cure them.

That is what I mean. Lots of the focus spirit skills aren't any good because it's too hard to balance them when most of the game can't cure them. So, redo how focus spirit skills work and upgrade stuff like darkmoon after that.
