This has been brought up by Gwylifar in these forums and in the game. The Serenguard have no note in the histories of Lusternia, leaving poor Gwylifar to only come up with theories on how they were founded. Can we have some mention of them? Anything big coming up for them? It is rather sad that when Jasper is now Minister of Cultural Affairs, I have to figure out some way to put the Serenguard in because they have no actual information on the history of their guild.

So, again, are the Serenguard going to have something big for them? Or will they just have to think of their own history? Or, just lie there and die without the spark of life we call roleplay?

We Just improvised and made our own roleplay. Its the best we can do, we are getting a pretty solid sense of identity at the moment, so its not all bad.

Pretty sad that Hartstone had a history and then did nothing to go by it. For a long time even the HELP GUILDNOVICE HARTSTONE file was completely wrong.

That's why you spread your influence over time, since most of the Hartstone are all pretty uh... (What's a gentle word) .

I'm not sure how you did it the first time, but it just seemed like it was in reflex to the old Hartstone topic, and well... most of the people who cheered you on weren't Hartstone.

That or everyone can whip Niara. I'm sure she can put her dream for Titan aside for the well-being of an organization.

Anyway.. lets talk about the Serenguard.
They were group of forestals that thought fae and little demenses were pissy and instead decided to form a secret sect devoted to learning the ways of the sword,mace, flail, weaponry in general...

My guess is the admin have much bigger fish to fry up there in the... whatever it is they call where they go. Which is fine, really.

I don't mind not knowing. I don't mind making up theories. I don't mind at all the way we work out our own ideas on it. It'd be cool if someday we got some clues to puzzle this out from, but it's not strictly necessary.

That said... a little bird told me that there's something going on having to do with Gloriana and that means we might learn a little bit about Nintoba and the centaurs. Thus, there's a tiny chance one or two clues might come up during this event concerning my theory, since the fact that our guild tutor Eurytus is a centaur (and one of our guild guards is the centaur hunter) fits into my theory.

Serenguard=Serenwilde's very own Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Yeah. All rogues who had the escape the cities into the wild and settle there.

Well Ill still be here lurking when this gets back on topic.

What was the topic again? Oh yeah, Serenguard. I think that there is no doubt that the Serenguard were the last guild to form in the Serenwilde. Probably there could even be a link to the time when the centaurs left to the foundation of Serenwilde, as Gwylifar mentioned once (or at least I think he was). So the Serenguard's past must be very recent, also they are the defenders of the Seren just as the name suggests. Imo, the Serenguard are the barbarian tribes of the Basin made out of rogues, rejects, hermits, exiles, or any other folk that was sick and tired of city life. Serenguard are the 100% survivalist clan that decided to live within the commune, eventually got baptized (I was looking for another word, forgot it) as the Serens' protector. Probably in all this, the Serenguard probably worked under the wing of the exiled Centaurs from Glomdoring. This would, imo, show some common ground between the two groups. Both are exiles, both wish to survive in the wild.
