With Celestines/Nihilists, it's even easier, since they know when they give anorexia, they can choose to give anorexia, and Nihilists can even strip quicksilver with a demon power.

oh wow, I got put on a list of best celestines? holy crap.. not bad for someone with a decent bit less might than most active fighters, no real system of sorts, and who only fights for rp reasons, and not cos he gets some geeky thrill from it. so ya, owwww.. I did drop like a rock, I wish I had saved my end of the log there.. I took an -obscene- amount of damage from Ixion.. I swear I went down in 2 or 3 hits.. I recall having about 2.2k of my almost 3k max health and flat out dying in 2 hits.. of course, this was without numen, but I do have 3 types of proofing on me (fire,lightning,cold) to help make up for my stupidly fragile merian-ness... so.. damn.. I was kinda shocked that I became so useless so fast.. all I did really was put up speed def again, sip health once and cure deafness once or twice.. I think.. sucky, but.. stuff happens..

Aquas shouldn't do any more damage to mobs, Shiri, unless mobs actually have varying elemental and physical defenses. They do more to players because fire is a lot harder to defend against then cutting and blunt.

EDIT: By that I mean it's more likely for them to just take default damage, as opposed to having armour for physical damage and no elemental resistance. I don't see them pookas stancing gut and parrying, somehow. Anyway.

Really, someone should revoke your license to speculate on this subject until you get out of this fog. Tuek is just getting as many people possible to agree with him about moondancers being underpowered, so that they'd get massive upgrades, which is absolutely the last thing they need...apparently though, most people actually have more insight than to fall for it. Gwylifar made that very clear .

That hardly affects how easy it is to beat someone. It just affects the intense frustration when you don't lose anything permanent from it.
