The Soulless game is totally a better name for it.

I hope Soll comes up with interesting describey things like Shamarah, though. How do you play this game IRL though? Seems like it'd take a while.

Not really - there's no communication between Mafia/Soulless, there aren't Seers.. everyone closes their eyes, the Mafia open theirs and point to whom they want to kill. Then the Doctor/Guardian opens their eyes (after the Mafia "go back to sleep") and point to whom they want to save. The God person remembers all this, makes up a little story when everyone opens their eyes. Then the people left alive chat amongst themselves, vote on one person to stone to death/arrest/however you play. Then the cycle begins again.

Yeah, it's much more chaotic when you play it IRL, and you don't actually discuss suspicions.

But atleast it gets finished, eh?

It's more of a "I thought I felt his arm move! He must have pointed at someone!" than a "Hm, he seems to be posting a lot more than usual, suspicious!" kind of thing.

Yeah... so in this new game, you hijack the thread. Go take this to the other Soulless one.

It does. Pretty much theres a god, who chooses the Mafia, Police, and doctor. Everyone puts their head down and closes their eyes (its night). The Mafia wake up, and chose a victim. Doctor wakes up, and chooses someone to save. Police (popo) wakes up and chooses someone to search.

People talk during the day, after a funny story about the dead guy. The cool thing about IRL is you can listen during the night, and try and figure out who is what that way. And theres facial expressions and such... tres cool.

Could you add a link to the original thread of rules and such, maybe? I know I saw one a few weeks ago somewhere, but I've since lost it.

Seems like this would be so much fun to play for real, too, but I'd never heard of it before the comment somewhere that this is like Mafia but with twists. And then I had to try searching to find out what Mafia was/is. Much fun!
