But, if a Seer checks Nyla, and finds Nyla is a Seer, we know Shiri's group is Soulless. If a Seer checks Nyla, and finds Nyla is a Soulless, we know Nyla's group is Soulless.

To be fair, the group following a particular person might not be Soulless, it just seems much more likely that they are. So we don't KNOW that.

At this point, there's a maximum of two seers left, and a maximum of five Soulless left. If Nyla IS a seer, one and five. If Nyla's a Soulless, two and four. The odds are two to five times better that they will be lying.

It does not convince me at all.
Assuming you are a Soulless and Daganev was one too (which I think it's correct), you can easily claim that Shiri is a soulless to get rid of him (seeing how he's active on forums, seems like a smart move). And of course you can now say that Summer is an Elder to get her trust, because you -know- she is an Elder (not because you're a seer but because she's not one of yours), she's quite active and able to convince people for what she believes. Then again Summer can be soulless anyway...

If I'm wrong then I have no clue and I'm back to guessing, so I have to go by it now.

If I was a Soulless pretending to be a seer I would have to pick very carefully who I said was what. I would know who the Soulless are so I could eleminate them. But that would leave 15 people 2 of which would be seers and and I forget how many guardians. If i say person A is a guardian and I am wrong there goes my whole plan

There's 2 guardians. Assuming none have died. And...yes, you'd know who the Soulless were, but if you were a Soulless, you wouldn't WANT to eliminate them. And if you say person A is a guardian, and they are in fact a Soulless as well, which is what is likely happened here your plan works just as well as normal.

If you wouldn't NAME the Soulless, which would POSSIBLY let people kill them, and then trust you more, than why are you accusing ME of being a Soulless and actually DIRECTLY killing another Soulless?
