"Urging caution" is like saying "We told her not to sleep in the sheets she pissed in. It's not our fault she didn't change them. She's three days old. She can do it."
No, urged caution means we said 'how would this work?, what is involved?, is it a good idea?'. As it was raezon who urged her to throw all caution to the wind it is His fault. As Magnagora is associated with Him it is their fault and by Arcowhathisnames logic it is also the original Crows and the Night Covens fault.

I like how you were all for detainting and were urging Viravain "do it, do it", and now when it went totally wrong, you're like whistling and saying "nope, that's not us...".
You are partially responsible for that, face it.
You are partially responsible for that, face it.

We are partially responsible, if that's the word, for the shiny rooms of snuggly Gloriana she made. We can take a slight about of responsibility for that then. But this stuff ain't our fault, because WE DIDN'T ENCOURAGE USING THE SEAL.

Alright.
Your dad kills someone. Are you guilty? No.
Your dad kills someone, because you mentioned to him you hated them and they hated you and you wished them dead. Are you guilty? Maybe not, but you sure as hell should feel guilty.

But you said yourself, you had no idea she was going to use the Seal.

Raezon already said he only mentioned to her what power source is available to her. He didn't urged her to use it, I think he wrote that himself here. And if none of Magnagoran's knew what he's doing, how can they be blamed for that? Magnagora's stance was against detainting, nevermind the reasoning.

You encuraged the snuggly Gloriana, by your own words. And this lead to the pressure on Viravain, who wanted to untaint the Ravenwood, but didn't think She could. So Raezon offered her a bit of advice.
If you told me you wanted to feel a high, and I told you to stick your tongue in the light socket, it isn't my fault your tongue's black and blue. It's your own damn fault for being stupid.

And as that someone who made me hate them in fact made me hate them, they should also feel guilty. Which still makes this Raezon and the Crows and the Night Covens and Magnagora's fault.
Erion2005-04-04 21:14:42
...They're dead. I'm sure the Seal Ravenwood feels guilty for, you know, being dead. And Serenwilde's greed.

Death doesn't absolve guilt and it was your attempt at an arguement.

Who said you weren't picking on them first? You hated them first. Your own fault they hate you.
Now what, bizznatch?

Read my previous post, that followed yours. Anyway, Serenwilde hated the Taint, so. It's their fault, not the Glomdoring's.

Again, it was self preservation. The Night Coven presented the threat that makes you to blame.

Almost but not quite. My post count is increasing at a respectable rate.

AND it's the Serenwilde's fault for not listening to the doctrine of Auseklis. He doesn't view the Taint as a destructive or anti-Nature force. He views it only as a force of Change. Had you listened to Him (the original Seren patron) the Seren wouldn't have pushed Viravain to cleanse the Glomdoring, and Raezon wouldn't have mentioned the source of power, and Viravain wouldn't have felt forced to use it.
