Because aesetics should not be what dictates the need for change. The Glomdoring was full of life that could not exist elsewhere, trying to make everything look like serenwilde is looking at things in a narrow greedy mindset.
Plenty of magnagorans kept on saying how they prefer the looks of darker trees, and how the thornbeasts have a place in the world also.
Daganev's history depends on the existance of thornbeasts and black widows, and he was very hurt by the idea that they will no longer ever exist again.

Of course, Magnagorans would say that.
Your history may very well depend upon thorn beasts and black widows but if Gloriana was reborn. The histories would speak of the transformation of the two creatures, leaving your history very much in tact.
Elgar2005-04-04 08:08:23
not to mention Kethuru essentially said you taint suck as much as the light, but you can grovel better so you may die quicker
So the argument of them serving Kethuru is false now. *makes new argument: You smell bad*
*disclaimer: He accually said something in the lines of you call yourselves my 'tainted children' but I do not. However if you embrace me I'll give you a quick dead

He said, "you may count your excrement as your children, but I do not". In essence, He's saying the Taint is His crap, and the Basin His toilet.
I love this guy.

Elgar2005-04-04 08:15:27
ok then the old argument stays 'You are Kethuru's crap and smell bad'
Jack2005-04-04 08:19:34
Nah.
I don't see why people are unifying against Kethuru, though. Surely there must be one or two lunatics dedicated to destroying the other seals and releasing Him fully? Or was Guido the only one?

I'm very curious to know which idiots tried to ally themselves with Kethuru.
Nihilists worship Nil, not the Taint.
Magnagora, the engine of transformation, sees the Taint as the best method to transform and improve.

Ofcourse my history would be intact, however, Daganev learned the live lessons of surival and strength because of those animals (i.e they nearly killed him and gave him his disability) He cares about those animals, the same way someone in serenwilde might care about the bunny rabbits. Asking for thier anihiliation just because you don't like them is cruel and uncaring.

I hate it when a magnagorian makes sense
Aebrin2005-04-04 08:43:27
Nah there's this nut...
while we're all allied against Kethuru...
This Dreamweaver (makes me think it's a novice by the things he does) attacks people at the Pool of Stars...
Perhaps the same person: magelocks the door to the Upper Deck of the Pool of Stars and puts firewalls.
He mentioned something to Lindhe something about following the Goddess.
hmm?

Stop. Trying. To. Blame. Serenwilde. For. This.
We advocated changing the Glomdoring, which up until now was working fine and making tonnes of bluebirds and butterflies and so on and so forth.
This part is true.
We advocated changing the Master Ravenwood Tree using the seal of nature, which was the part of it that screwed up and broke things.
This part is FALSE.
Therefore, as it's NOT SERENWILDE'S FAULT that this HAPPENED, stop trying to imply that it is and therefore we need to change our perspective. We already crushed that argument once.

Viravain screwed everything up, Serenwilde helped Viravain, so it's obviously all Serenwilde's fault.
But seriously now:
Serenwilde is to blame for this as much as Celest is to blame for releasing Kethuru the first time from the Astral spheres, they didn't intend to, but did it nonetheless, if you play with a gun and kill your friend, you'll have to carry the consequences too.

Shiri2005-04-04 10:10:09
But not quite, because it was Celest's method of exploring the Astral plane's that caused the error.
However, the method we sanctioned of cleansing Glomdoring was going just fine.
It was Raezon's method of doing things when our method failed that screwed up this time. We're only to blame as far as not protecting Viravain from evil words like we were warned to.

Operation Cosmic Hope was going just fine untill they hit astral...
Operation Gloriana Hope was going just fun untill they hit the last piece...

Shiri2005-04-04 10:14:02
And the last piece wasn't our choice and therefore not our fault.
With Cosmic Hope, the entire breaking into the Astral thing to use the power there was part of the plan.

And yet you still don't see what was wrong with the whole concept in the first place...

The math here is simple.
Raezon = I didn't learn my lesson about the Soulless the first time around. = Whispers bad advice to Viravain. = Seal broken, Kethruru released. = Raezon is patron of Magnagora. = This is Magnagora's fault.

I like how "Seal broken, Kethuru released" equals "Raezon is patron of Magnagora" there, but you're right.
