Yes yes yes! I love influencing at this point and would probably find some way to get credits just for one. People underrate it too much (Inside and outside of village influencing).

At first I was inclined to agree, but being able to switch to a race with all of the bonuses is just that. Anything else seems overly extra (Even though I really think it would make sense). If physiology mattered I don't think it'd be possible to speak some of the languages either.

You should not be able to speak every language at once, unless I can speak elfen AND furrikini since I've been both.

It doesn't make sense to change a race every month and then suddenly forget the langage , change back next month and then remember it again. We should be able to speak every language because of our quick rate of changing.

If you can instantly learn a language, you can instantly forget it, too. And, surprisingly enough, that's exactly what happens.

This only comes up because you can't learn languages other than by changing race. If you could learn a language with lessons, then it'd be a simple answer -- want to know them all, go learn them. It would also have the advantage of making sense.

I have a VASTLY superior answer.

Whatever race you were before you were changeling, you keep that race's language, and lose all others. Period.

What if language teachers will be implemented here too?

I think changelings should get their own changeling racial language, and not be able to speak any other languages. Because as they like so like to point out, they're not whatever race they are currently, or the race they were born as. They're changelings.

I like that idea. They shouldn't know the language of the race they become, because, like it was pointed out, it doesn't make sense really.

Ialie roleplays her changeling powers differently.


Ialie was born a faeling and she will always think of herself as a faeling even if she can change forms now. She doesn't even have the same type of cameo. Her cameo was cursed and almost caused her to die and so on. She was not born a changeling.

Until dying my hair black, and getting a tan allows me to instantly learn Spanish, and then instantly forget it upon losing that cancerous glow and regaining my normal blonde hair...changelings should not be able to speak every language. Going even further, I do not think they should even speak beyond the language (if any) their 'original' race is.

You are changing your body, and in my opinion, ONLY your body. Language has nothing to do with that change.
