Earring of Rejalix (or some other name) Allows you to hear everything, including shouts, says, and yells while deaf.

The Tae'Dae formally known as Daganev.
Edit: Wow, I'm stupid, for some reason.. I saw your Avatar.. without reading the name... and thought it was Daganev's... I guess I should go to sleep.. 3:15 a.m.

I seriously wish I could change my name... I wonder if I could persuade the administration to do it for me. Guess not.
An artifact which doesn't allow people to ASSESS, CONTEMPLATE and DISCERN you.
Could be combined with the one hiding your might, and should cost much.

Bah, the Mods moved my thread! How dare they! Now it's going to get less views since no one reads the Ideas section! Heh. I bet if I didn't have the word ideas in the topic it would have never been moved, since it is not technically an idea per se but instead a request for ideas.
Murphy2005-04-07 13:31:37
Thats ok Tuek, most smart people use view new posts thread so it'll still get seen!

It's the only thing I ever use, I was just being sarcastic. Next time I'll remember to put sarcasm tags for you.
Don't put it in the Ideas section, because then the administration will never read it!
See? Just kidding... and I the administration, don't take me seriously on that! You guys do a great job.
Murphy2005-04-07 13:35:55
here here, given the last event the admin do a damn fine job!

Ooh, yeah.
Something that stops assess/discern/contemplate.
I love it.

How about.... no more artifacts, because we don't want Lusternia to turn into Achaea. Yay Amaru, great answer.
Note: That counts for artifacts like 'AV0ID WEB 0R ENTANGLE ART1FACT, UBER +1 COLLAR OF LOLZ - 100000 CREDITS', but not for artifacts like the custom room entrance, which is good. I like customisation.
Personally I'd be happy if my entrance (due to yesod) was
In a blaze of holy light, a celestial archangel suddenly appears.
White lightning crackles through the air before a magnificent unicorn as it thunders in from the ether.
The Handmaiden of Shakiniel flies in from the ether, her sword drawn and shield held high.
Which it should be. Instead it's just
He is followed by a celestial archangel, a magnificent unicorn, and the Handmaiden of Shakiniel.
Alas.

Achaea was bad because of stat artifacts.
People like Xenomorph with 21 strength.
People like Tuerney with 20 int.

Well, constitution and dexterity artifacts really don't affect anything. Constitution artifacts are only useful for bashing. Though, I do agree that strength artifacts should not exist (and to a lesser extent, intelligence artifacts, but the only really damaging attack affected by intelligence is an Aquamancer staffcast, but this is now considerably weakened with the advent of proofings). In Imperian they got it right though, only had +2 strength (no +3) and it cost 2000 credits.
Thorgal2005-04-07 14:18:38
Yeah, now we only have people walking around with 24 strength, or 23 intelligence, without artifacts...
Anyway,
Necklace of Creation. -2000 credits
A necklace that can be worn, enchanted with 300 charges, never decays and enables you to customize any item or mobile belonging to you, for 10 gold per letter.
p.s. Intelligence or strength boosting artifact is absolutely the last thing we need. We had it right at the start when we asked for no stat-altering artifacts to be released, they really, really shouldn't.

That's one crazy artifact, I like it though. I think the extra enchants thing would have to be separate though.

Karrah2005-04-07 15:35:57
KEYRING.
Gwylifar2005-04-07 16:32:37
Censer of Taint: Automatically sprinkles just enough taint underfoot that you gain the racial benefits of being in a tainted room (e.g., viscanti healing) even when the room isn't tainted. Note: racial benefits only; you can't meld the room, for instance. Naturally, there'll also be equivalents for water (a sprinkler of some sort?), forest (perhaps some potpourri?), and eventually air and fire.
Ceres2005-04-07 16:34:44
Hehehehe. Why bother selling regen rings, eh?
Gwylifar2005-04-07 17:13:30
Well, I have neither a regen ring nor any racial regeneration (or in fact racial advantage, really), so I can't compare. But I was under the impression that even in a tainted area a viscanti would like a ring, so this wouldn't change that fact. That said, don't ask me to explain how the regeneration things stack. Other people have figured that out and that's good enough for me.

Battle Standard
Uses the command FORM.
A useful artifact for getting groups of people together, up to five.
FORM ADD Lets you add a person to the formation.
FORM REMOVE Lets you remove a person from your formation.
FORM LEAVE Lets you leave a formation. Note if the form creator does this command, it will break the entire formation.
FT (Form Tell) Allows you to speak on a temporary channel with your group
Joining a form automatically makes you follow the form leader. If someone is no longer following, they are still considered in the formation, and able to use the channel, until they leave.
FWHO Shows all members in a form

Swift boots 200cr
Gives you leg balance, as well as arms
This was a normal feature in closed beta, we could jab, jab, kick. Kicks never did much extra damage, but I liked the three hits.

Sorry for the spam, I'm randomly popping these out between calls. I'll cut my sig down.
Bone of the Necromancer
Allows you to rezz a mob, if you have the corpse, at a cost of 3xmax HP of the mob, in willpower.
I believe spectral paladins have something like, what... 500hp? So it would take 1500 willpower to rezz one. Something like a demon lord, which I'll say, for speculation's sake has like... 20k hp, it would cost 60k willpower. In other words, you're not going to be able to.
Lets you rezz minor mobs, like for quests perhaps, excluding weevils and rats.
