Seriously though, no web stopping artifacts, no tails of loki, and nothing that increases stats. Certain artifacts are cool, but others just take away from the uniqueness of certain classes and combat tactics.

Other than that.. I don't really have an opinion.

Gloves of Defilement

When you kill someone while wearing these gloves, their body cannot be picked up, ressurected, lastrited, fossilized, etc, and the corpse in the room will have a custom message (that you will have to get approved by the Divine first). So if you killed someone, you could make it say...

The body of Combatant lies here desecrated, the name "Glovewearer" carved into his skull.

No one liked the formation idea?

Brooch/Bauble/Lavaliere/chocker/etc. of Elemental Affinity/Communion

It would give the wearer a special elemental based attack. It would be more for RP, and not do much actually damage, but does hit with an affliction, like the Dracnari's fire breath. There could be some sort of Freezing, Lightning, Earthen, Water, Air, and I suppose even another Fire and Poison. I see there being two possibilities:

Elemental Affinity- (Lower cost) Grants the wearer one elemental attack. The type can not be ever changed.

Elemental Communion- (Higher cost) Grants the wearer one elemental attack, but they can change the type of attack once per IG month, much like a changeling.

The formation seems kinda like an iffy verion of Covens. And it's not like they're much good either, except Resurgem.

I don't like the formation idea, but then again I do. It'd keep things less complicated within groups and maybe it'd be possible to create alliance-type things (Stupid FF11 past...) so you could have multiple formations over planes and whatnot.

But then again you can do that with covens and just have different groups.

The Shield of Proctector has been done in Achaea and Imperian, how is that new and unique?

Forms are temporary. I actually got the idea from another MUD, exile. It sucked, but the forms were a great idea, good for bashing and raiding.

Meh, it's not exactly new, but a change to one that already exists that a few people don't like.

Have the powerplex jewels store energy within themselves, still at the rate of 5% a month, and then have tag-ons instead of extra gems to increase productivity each month by another 5% per tag-on. Have the reserves within the powerplex jewels be able to reach 250%, and when you want be able to drain the reserves in the jewel, to your reserves with something like JEWELDRAIN . Give it quite a bit of balance/eq so it can't be used instantly during battle, but will aid in long battles.

I stated directly in my post that both were borrowed from Imperian. It is certainly more interesting and unique then repeatedly asking for a Veil/Web boots which Estarra has repeatedly said NO to. Also, same with strength artifacts. That is what I didn't want suggested, because the administration was set against it.

Not really a new idea, but how about make the Brooch of the Tempest stop waves and currents from getting you?
