They would still be available to everyone.

Salt and sulfur come from jewellers, so every city/commune has them.

I don't think such restructuring of skillsets ever happens, though. :/

Which is why riding is doomed, forever and ever.
Thorgal2005-04-15 15:30:48
Divine said at the start they didn't adjust riding because they didn't have the time for it, when the opportunity arises, I'm sure they'll get to it.

Um, Shiri, you need alchemists to magically charge the salt and sulfur. So while it's an interesting idea, Serenwilde would have a huge advantage if we even managed to in part ban salt and sulfur sales.
Shiri2005-04-15 18:43:16
Oh, you do? Whoops. I didn't know that.

Nevermind then.
Akraasiel2005-04-20 15:45:04
Eat Merbloom. It practically gives immunity to both dreamweavers and drowse, not only giving insomnia, but also restoring your restedness to full.
Shiri2005-04-20 16:46:55
...:gape: Merbloom restores restedness? WHOAH. Okay. Then there is a cure. Go! biggrin.gif
Terenas2005-04-20 16:50:13
Last time I heard it just gave insomnia, was that recently changed?
Akraasiel2005-04-20 16:53:55
Nope, its always restored tiredness. Its right in the ab herbs file thingy.
Gwylifar2005-04-20 16:55:07
If I were tired, I'd test it.
Shiri2005-04-20 17:02:38
I'm going to.

EDIT: Lies! It has no effect! angry.gif
Terenas2005-04-20 17:13:40
It doesn't, I just tested it too.
Ceres2005-04-20 17:15:36
You guys really thought it did?

Terenas2005-04-20 17:17:51
Yes, because it's an affliction that is uncureable by any methods, even hunger can be delayed by Orange or foods. We're hoping that the admins would at least give us some way to delay or counter something like this. Heck, you can even build up resistances against alcohol, but there is nothing that stops or delay restlessness. dry.gif
Gwylifar2005-04-20 17:19:04
I think a lot of people were so surprised it gave insomnia and no one seemed to know that. It seems to fit, besides.

Even so, I didn't believe it -- just wanted to prove it.
Akraasiel2005-04-20 17:49:23
The ab herbs file says, or at least used to say, that it fully rested you. Either the AB file needs to be changed, or the divine need to fix it accordingly.
Sylphas2005-04-20 17:54:45
Fully rested would be massive overkill, but giving a bit of restedness back would be great.

No, it would still be overpowered. A Dreamweave would have no chance.

Honestly, I don't see what the problem with the skill is anyways. Metawake people! Metawake!

Yes, because knights have oodles of willpower to go around keeping metawake up! I'll show you a log of me against Geb fighting for 2 hours where I had to keep metawake up and drained over 9k of my willpower in less than an hour, whenever I get around to edit it.

Let's assume Geb was a geomancer. You would have long been dead to poison gas... because that's like 120+ pieces of food. Point? Gas/Mist both make Dreamweavers uber nasty in long, drawn out battles.
