Trill will get upgraded when and only when they specialize in Hallifax. Sorry.
Murphy2005-04-11 02:11:04
says tuek, creator and owner of lusternia..........
Unknown2005-04-11 02:38:54
With as much as he's spent on credits... he's probably a shareholder!

Just teasing. I agree with Tuek though. There just doesn't seem to be anything to add, unless you want like a level 1 balance recovery (Their dexterity is average though so I don't see it happening).
Desdemona2005-04-11 02:46:29
Me too. I think Lucidians/Trills would both be getting race specializations upon Hallifax's discovery.

I know, but I wanted to comment anyway cloud9.gif

Besides, everyone knows its Mugwump that need an upgrade.

EDIT: I swear this post wasn't self serving in any function, and was based on an unbiased opinion. No, really!

Furrikin, dangit! (But Faelings got some sort of upgrade, that's gotta be worth a little. Not that they can be warriors ANYWAY. dry.gif)

By upgrade, you mean they just need to remove the retarded equilibrium speed caps on almost every ability.

If you don't know what I mean, certain abilities have caps on them so they will never go past a certain speed, making the level 2 bonus have no greater then a level 1 bonus on some skills, and on others not even have an increased speed over regular equilibrium. Case in point, Druid cudgel (probably the Mage staffs as well).

The faeling upgrade was meant for faeling hartstone druids to own with runes, not for faelings to become warriors. Celestines with tarot are also immensely powerful as a faeling.

Any Runic mage would benefit from being a Faeling actually. Btw, can you sling runes down while flying? laugh.gif Kidding.
Arundel2005-04-11 12:50:42
That's evil. Besides, the balance recovery after flying is soo long for Trill; maybe the Faeling upgrade makes it a lot shorter.

Well, maybe it's not *that* long, but you'd probably get hit by a geyser or something before you could sling.

Give krokani a reason to live! Feros was one but reincarnated. They suck!

Make 'em less tanky then Igasho but nerf the eq/balance slowness stuff.
Richter2005-04-11 20:45:51
Everyone knows humans and Aslaran need bonuses.

That wasn't self serving at all *hum*

Mugwump staffpoint as an Aquamancer is the exact same speed as Merian.

Well, it may be that staffcasting at 3 seconds is the cap for it. I'm pretty sure moonburst is faster for a Mugwump than a Merian at least, else why would Tuek be one most of the time for bashing?
Ixchilgal2005-04-11 22:07:19
I guess that explains why some folks with only level 1 equilibrium seem to cast just as fast as me, a lot of times.

Blarg, that's irritating. The whole reason I -picked- Mugwump was so I could whip off magic ultra fast. I mean, there's no other reason to play them.

EDIT: Before that gets taken out of context...there -are- other reasons to play them, RP wise. But I meant on a statistical level, there's no other reason.
