NYAH!
Hazar2005-04-11 01:18:35
Dang. I get second place.

And he probably has a T1 line.
Laysus2005-04-11 01:21:54
Just like to say thanks for the upgrade.. but now I'm tempted to make a faeling speedknight, because I DON'T USE BALANCE ranting.gif
Murphy2005-04-11 01:21:58
You bloody post ninjas.....

Personally I welcome the move, once I get me cameo I'll test out a faeling knight with 265 speed hammers......should be some fun there. Faelings might even have a decent surge, and be half tanky as a knight
Desdemona2005-04-11 01:26:08
Maybe there was a mix-up of Balance with Equilibrium? Or maybe Faelings will become the race of Glomdoring, and Balance will really be placed to use in their new skills...
Singollo2005-04-11 01:26:37
I don't see how you would be doing decent damage with a base 7 strength.

Although, with blessings and other defenses I believe it is possible for a level 70 faeling to break 5k with surge. So who knows! I call for a free reincarnation.
Unknown2005-04-11 01:29:24
Tada. Valid complaining does help, people. Whine about more races.
Murphy2005-04-11 01:29:44
i'm talking about a speed knight singolo....

and as a faeling I'd have 10 str, 12 at night. 13 with a TF and 14 with a heroesfete.....With all that dex a speedknight faeling used properly with sacrifice when it becomes workable would be aweseom
Shamarah2005-04-11 01:30:40
It's an interesting change but I can't see it helping much, seeing as Wiccans and Druids use eq and Faelings don't get enough strength to be Warriors...
Desdemona2005-04-11 01:31:22
Could we all please whine about Orclach and Taurians next? The whole Taurian and Orclach community of the Basin would be very grateful. tongue.gif
Bricriu2005-04-11 01:31:27
Now....give Viscanti a racial language! Or considering how we're tied in to all races, at least give us partial understanding to them.

Shamarah2005-04-11 01:33:06
Hmm, Murphy could be on to something... I'd like to see someone try that, heh.

Not going to help the majority of Faelings though.
Xavius2005-04-11 01:33:15
It's an interesting change, that's the whole thing. Speed knight faelings? Enough so to actually make venoms matter? Shieldstun and knock down? Fun stuff!

Yeah, I know, but Faelings are kin to forest so I personally wasn't considering Lich. (See my edit btw)
Unknown2005-04-11 01:34:41
Shamarah.. its all about the Runes

Edited because i thought hexes used balance here.. heh

I'd consider it given a free reincarnation, but I'd like to see a few more racial upgrades before they do that (Which is IRE tradition, do not forget!)
Genos2005-04-11 01:36:06
Hexes is equilibrium, not balance.
Unknown2005-04-11 01:36:12
Tested shieldstun. You are better off as an Aslaran for the higher strength if you want to whore that.

I see it's main use being Hartstone druids with Runes, and then using lightning stripes for a level 2 equilibrium bonus at the same time.
Hazar2005-04-11 01:36:45
So Faelings, descendents of the Wiccan's ents, make excellent...druids?
