I thinking that the Dracnari female's breast are not really breasts. Just some sacks around the chest area, they could inflate to attract mates, you know like those species of birds that have pouches they can inflate to seek a female... Just in this case, the female does the inflating. Or maybe even pouches to warn off people that they (Dracnari) are angry. Or perhaps, if you want to be strict about mamary glands, MAYBE all humanoids except for furrikin contain two pairs of them from which they feed their young?
Daganev2005-04-14 17:49:01
I have a funny feeling all the pictures are going to have 'Human' faces. Oh well.
Desdemona2005-04-14 17:50:47
Human faces? I doubt the Taurian/Tae'dae/Igasho/Furrikins would be able to get "human" faces. Probably because we all have snouts or something, or are extremelly furry...
Shiri2005-04-14 18:02:33
I concur with Daganev's prediction.
(And why would Furrikin, but not Taurian? )

I wouldn't give this one a baby.
The Viscanti, definitely. The Mugwump, sure. The Dracnari? No thanks.

Desdemona2005-04-14 18:07:14
Because Furrikins are more animal than Taurians?
Roul2005-04-14 18:15:16
The thing is, with the Taurians. Is the artist going to make them humanoid bulls/whatever? Or is he going to follow the Minotaur path and have them be human with the head of a bull?
Furrikins on the other hand, we already know they're just anthropomorphic (WHATEVER) squirrels and rabbits and crap. So yeah.

Daganev2005-04-14 18:34:34
Well, if any race was to NOT have a human face, I would think it dracnari.
Unknown2005-04-14 18:38:59
I'd rather there were more scales visible.
Falasin2005-04-14 18:55:17
Very nice, though I wasn't expecting the spike like things in the shoulders and other areas, though the is alot of room for imagination on just how draconic each meber of the species is.
Now just as soon as the typo in the Dracnari help file and the mix up with Bask balance/equilibrium messages are fixed my thirst for Dracnari related... things... shall be sate.

I imagined Dracnari to look more like that one red special pokemon from ruby.

Twice.

Regarding the armour, maybe Pyromancers are more adept with armour than the remaining mages. Or maybe the old mages knew enchanting magics that were lost, like Dreamweaving, that let them create magical armour that did not interfere with their spellcasting. Though other than the scaley helm, the rest could be construed as just a sparse outfit.
Revan2005-04-14 19:33:11
Are you saying that pretty soon we'll see mages wearing chainmail? Or or or... fullplate!? It would certainly cure the disease known as one hit kills on mages
Jack2005-04-14 19:33:48
Mages in fullplate?
...
Put the crack away, Revan.

A man can hope
Jack2005-04-14 19:35:01
As long as Guardians got it, too.
And Wiccans.
And Wiccans.
Revan2005-04-14 19:38:44
Wiccans don't need fullplate, and guardians have numen/putre
Jack2005-04-14 19:39:31
Pfft.
ur'Guard have putre and fullplate. Why make exceptions?

Fine, as long as I can use a shield without cutting my only offensive ability in half.
