Sure!
Hell, you can wield both a sword and a shield, simultaneously, in either hand.
And they've removed that pointless "wielding two shields simultaneously reduces defensive capacity".

I like the pic. As for any of those that think the dracnari should be more lizard like, have a walk around Dairuchi. I've seen only a small number of the more dragon/lizard looking dracnari there, majority seem to be those with human heritage, and if i'm not mistaken, tend to look very human, save for the scales. All in all, excelent pic, can't wait for the Pyromancers to come out...the pic could just be a look into the future of when the modern human-like dracnari intermingle with their dragon-like comrades once Gaudiguch is freed from Time
Falasin2005-04-14 20:07:31
That's assuming that there is anything left of Gaudiguch. Just because they're lost in time dosen't mean they are frozen in time. They could very well be living on inside the city, and all could have possibly starved to death, and they could just as possibly be frozen where they were when skewed from the normal flow of things, no way to tell untill the cities are returned.
Unknown2005-04-14 20:23:27
I could just imagine Gaudigush opening and there's only like five Dracnari and hundreds of left over scales and bones, and someone like Rhysus comes in and says "What the Nil happened here!?" and the scaley Dracnari just shrugs its shoulders and smiles.
I love the picture though.

More like this: Rhysus says, "I DECLARE THIS CITY FOR THE LIGHT!!!!!!11ONE!!111 Wait, I don't care because I'm an apathetic character. Continue with your miserable scaley lives as I go to twiddle my thumbs in my office, watching my city crumble before my very eyes."

I'm still not entirely sure why a lizard would need breasts

...what? They lay EGGS. Did I say that wrong?
Revan2005-04-14 20:43:47
Breasts are there for suckling. You suckle breasts... and nipples. Nipples excrete milk for nourishment. Baby lizards suckle breasts with nipples and drink the milk so they are nourished. Go take sex-ed, Shiri.
Shiri2005-04-14 20:48:57
...bleh. I thought someone told me lizards (i.e crocodiles) didn't do that stuff.
No, wait, I'm positive. Only mammals have mammary glands. That's why they're called mammary glands. Right? :/

Exactly my point. What else would be the centre of the eye's focus?

The eyes! Duh! I mean you see breasts drawn all the time, good eyes are rare.

Dude, I'd like to see a female tauran with her eyebals on her nipples. THAT would be damn cool.

Regarding the armour, maybe Pyromancers are more adept with armour than the remaining mages. Or maybe the old mages knew enchanting magics that were lost, like Dreamweaving, that let them create magical armour that did not interfere with their spellcasting. Though other than the scaley helm, the rest could be construed as just a sparse outfit.

So is that a confirmation that Mages -aren't- supposed to wear greathelms?
Faethan2005-04-14 22:40:28
Is there a law against females in Lusternia wearing any kind of pants or skirt or anything that covers any part of the leg? ('cause that'd be a good rule)
