After a warning in a topic, if it still continues to be a hijack, can a moderator close it (like, Erion's apologize one, the Lisaera vs Viravain one, the quotes one, the player pics, to name a few).

No locking the threads, instead just use the emoticons bellow and leave the thread! But, the nice thing is that if you are thread starter, I guess you could request for the thread to be closed.

Just direct it towards one of the Gods to make an ultimate decision. Generally I'll just delete hijack posts if it goes WAAAAY offbase and leave it open for the original discussion.

Maybe we need some real moderators who don't just search for profane language.

I'm the thread starter of the player pics one, and it does piss me off when people start talking about random stuff, but I like having a place for people to post their pics.

Maybe some of us here actually do more than censor people's language. You just don't notice it, and you shouldn't.
