So far, I've been able to determine 1 of 3 possibilities as to the length of the replacement of the switch.

1) IRE servers and switches exist in a timewarp where 30 seconds is more than 1 hour real time

2) The guys replacing the switch are really trashed and are plugging forks into the electrical equipment at this point, wondering why everyone is saying it doesn't work.

3) Perhaps they are paid by the minute.
