Ok so I got very drunk last night, down at the pub in a rediculous stink of far too much beer pokies, then when i got home i had to crack open a cheap bottle of wine...............while playing poker. After everyone went to be I got on lusternia.

Turns out I managed to somehow win a FFA (thank hell my curing system isn't manual, and i have colourful highlights cause I was having real trouble reading the text) i did get drunk in game to try and keep up the RP and reasonably justify my actions...

So I log back on this morning, with a massive hangover......to find Murphy wearing nothing but his jewelry......

ugh while I remember everything, what a night!

I've been there... I've won an FFA drunk off my a** too.

In fact, I know a few people who don't play Lusternia or any type of electronic game without being drunk... In fact one of these people was always so much better than me in Achaean combat... despite of (or because of) his constant drunkeness...

Also you should probably search the forums for things you posted that night too...

Was he a monk? That would make sense for any of you who have seen Jackie Chan's "Drunken Master" movie.

That movie had some really good fighting in it... but no he was a infernal, he was good at breaking limbs like monks though.

Well its now 6 hours later, been playing poker all day and i still feel as bad as I did this morning........

Lushlord Murphy, his head full of heroics and courage, stepped up from his seat and drew both his weapons in a cry filled with bloodlust. Many were those that fell to his blows, and the breaking of limbs and bones crushed the silence of the quiet night.

His path struck through the bodies of his enemies, leaving a trail of blood and massacre in his wake, before the light of dawn touched the teeth of Avechna, Murphy was standing alone and victorious.

Yet, such lofty deeds could not sate the great torturer, and he went forth for other conquest. Treading the streets of Mag in victory, it was not long before he met the challenge that would prove to be his end, for the power and strength of Veonira were legendary. As the confrontation between the two titans continued, Murphy, in a last act of desperation, ripped all his clothes from his body and stood before Veonira ready to make his last stand.

But Veonira was ready for Murphy, and with a simple shake of her head, cast down the great Ur’guard in shame and defeat, leaving his form alive only to ponder his failure. And Estarra gazed down upon the scene, and was pleased, for the peace of the night had returned and Murphy’s drunken brawling had come to a halt by the virtue and strength of Veonira.

My theory is this.

When your drunk, you can't focus on the screen, when you can't focus on the screen, you don't waste time reading details, and pay attention only to patterns your brain allready knows, thus quickening your reflexes.
