Ok lemme rephrase that,  make Anorexia, Disloyalty, Asthma, Slickness and all that crap stick -then- you've got them, wait i forgot, you get that on anyone and their dead  doh.gif an anyone can get out of it.

There is one person in existence who can do that.

His name is Tuek. He's a Moondancer.

No one else has access to all those things, because it requires hexes, which no one takes. And if you have focus mind it's fairly easy to get out of it anyway.
Unknown2005-04-17 12:04:28
Well I certainly hope you're not teaching anyone; I fear for your prospective students.

Pay attention, here's the point spelt out nice and clearly: we have a lot of useless, less than useful or overly expensive skills. We also have some very good ones. I would trade variety for spamming the same skill over and over.
Thorgal2005-04-17 12:06:25
Downgrade your own defence and healing, THEN bitch about your offense.
Unknown2005-04-17 12:12:15
Oh I'll just go and code that into the game myself, shall I?

Go and play a Moondancer and then tell me we are overpowered.
Shiri2005-04-17 12:21:34
That's a bad argument, Quidgyboo, because it doesn't take for you to be one to complain about it. Or shouldn't. (And do you really want Thorgal as a Moondancer?)

That said, don't bother listening to Thorgal. It really isn't worth the time trying to make him see reason. There are better people to argue imbalance with than him. Wish we had Melanchthon back. Even though he didn't fight much. :/ (Why is he still Steward BTW?)
Jack2005-04-17 13:01:22
Who's more trustworthy than the guy who isn't even there to steal the funds? tongue.gif

Then try convincing the divine you're underpowered instead, see if they listen to "reason". I wanna see what they say to it after all that's happened.
Shiri2005-04-17 14:50:49
I suppose we'll see when the envoy reports go through.
Akraasiel2005-04-17 18:18:13
I can see it already:

Request Denied.

Thats Fain's line, don't steal it. As for everyone saying it is one person, being capable of doing what he did _shouldn't_ be possible, regardless if "no one takes hexes anyway". Personally, I wouldn't mind the ent classes going away all together. What classes get complained about? The ent classes... In every IRE game. Tell me, as a Viscanti Geomancer, with every trans skill and with a person with the exact skill comparable to Tuek playing him, would that class be capable of doing _half_ of what Tuek can do with little support?
Typhus2005-04-18 18:12:50
Make the Lord/Supernals/Avatars use the bugged version of dilute. No one will want to fight them then.

Wrong. Here, the mage classes get complained about. Hah.

And hexes have nothing to do with him being able to beat an Avatar with a farhealing squad and a load of buggy nymphs. You can't afflict mobiles, you know. mellow.gif

You haven't been reading Achaea's forums then. Ents classes complaints was so last year, it's Mages in Achaea this year. I know I've contributed to more than half the complaints against them at least. tongue.gif

Downgrade Moondancer defenses, give us Vodun/Puppetry as a secondary skill choice. I think that's fair... right Thorgal?
Sylphas2005-04-18 19:14:20
Puppetry is the DEVIL. Giving more classes Puppetry/Vodun will hasten the death of the planet, and bring about the end times.

OMG, Kethuru must use puppetry then...
Sylphas2005-04-18 19:18:36
Obviously. He had a puppet of Viravain.

Better watch out Estarra! Kethuru got a few fashions on you and his puppet doesn't decay!

Yep.

Not that it'd make any sense.
