So yes... nearly 900 damage from the first... 1300 something on the second... fear the underpoweredness....

Unknown2005-04-17 08:22:19
Oooh Laneth is me! I am famous!

...Laneth is an Elfen, high int has a lot to do with it, you know.
Thorgal2005-04-17 09:05:11
Tuek, just so you know, writing posts complaining about a class, then ending the post with "I'm not complaining"...doesn't really cut it smile.gif.

And I think by now everyone knows moondancers aren't anywhere near underpowered or subpar, even your own guildmembers won't listen to you rants, so you can stop trying now.
Unknown2005-04-17 09:21:50
I have no idea what you are talking about Thorgal. Nearly everyone agrees that our offensive skills are very limited.
Daganev2005-04-17 09:23:47
No, people said they were boring... That you only had to hit one macro to do all your damaging things, because everything else is automated.

Few people have actually said its been weak and needs upgrading.
Unknown2005-04-17 09:24:47
80% of our offensive skills are useless and or not worth their cost.
Akraasiel2005-04-17 09:29:56
... compared to the other 20% that make using anything else pointless because nothing else comes close to competing with it.
Unknown2005-04-17 09:36:41
Oh I'm sorry, I love spamming the one thing over and over; it's ever so much fun.
Thorgal2005-04-17 09:56:08
There's a difference between actually taking a look at your skills, then practice with them to come to the conclusion your offense isn't all that great, and just agreeing with everyone saying your skills are underpowered, whether they are or not, in hope they get upgraded.

I think it's fairly obvious to which group you belong to, Quidgyboo.

Your offense is mediocre, your defence is retardedly powerful, you don't need upgrades at all, all you can do is try to shift some of the effectiveness of your defence to your offense.

Unknown2005-04-17 10:03:03
So...Tuek and Narsrim, two people everyone can agree have practiced the skills extensivly, obviously should be ignored because they think we need an offensive upgrade, right?

I see where you are coming from and I bow to your logic.
Thorgal2005-04-17 11:05:20
Try listening to Narsrim and Shiri some more, and not to Tuek, often he strikes me as clever, but sometimes I get the impression of a powergamer who'd do anything to get his class ugraded. I really can't wait till the shadowdancers come in.
Unknown2005-04-17 11:09:23
Yeah you want a guild with not variety in offence pick serenguard, we can hit people, and if we are feeling adventurous (and suicidal) make them lose 2 seconds of eq. Admittedly we can hit people in new and interesting places, but even that gets dull.
Unknown2005-04-17 11:13:19
ShadowDancers? I thought they'd probably be more along the lines of NightDancers, since Moon, MoonDancers, though then it'd be a bit weird with Ravenstone, then again, who says their even going to be dancers? Their skills could be based around a totally different style.

With the Wicca offensive, it's really not that great, the defensive is good, though we're meant to be a group fighters not those lone fighters. I'm guessing the fae are meant to be like a mini Demesne, their timers and stuff, but then if you can get disloyalty to stick, you've basically got them down their whole offence and got it hitting them, though it's not that hard to cure.
Jack2005-04-17 11:14:19
Pfft, they'll just be called the Night Coven.

Dancing's for wusses.

Anyone who can't cure disloyalty shouldn't be given their Wiccan license deal.gif

(sucky smilie but closest to a license tongue.gif )
Unknown2005-04-17 11:25:06
Ok lemme rephrase that, make Anorexia, Disloyalty, Asthma, Slickness and all that crap stick -then- you've got them, wait i forgot, you get that on anyone and their dead doh.gif an anyone can get out of it.

Maybe you should listen to those two a little closer, I am pretty sure they both think Moondancers need offensive upgrades.
Thorgal2005-04-17 12:01:51
I feel like I'm teaching a kindergarten, though that doesn't surprise me with your kind of name, anyway: If your defence and healing is better than anyone else's by far, and your offense is good enough to beat every single person alive, do you honoustly think you deserve upgrades?
