I'm not a bad guy, but this makes me want to be a griefer to the cow. She's on par with Valek.

Dude, you did work towards things the Seren has taken a stance against and which we consider acts of war (or some such thing). If she didn't enemy you, someone else would have.
Richter2005-04-18 23:47:20
We (mags, serens, rogues) were raising avatars. Apparently, that's bad now. As for disconnecting the manse, I just lost 60k. Pile that on top of the 150k I lost when Erion kicked me out of his little clan, that's a freakin lot of gold.

But, back on the subject of the avatars, I'm sure I'll find somewhere else to complain.

serenwilde does a wonderfull job of cutting itself off from the world these days.

That's a good thing. Honestly. It's something Laneth has pushed for a little from time to time and I'm sure even you have demanded we stop interacting with cities so much.
Daganev2005-04-19 04:25:56
aye, it was a compliment.
Unknown2005-04-19 04:43:12
Good good, I'm happy.

I love how people circulate my name..
Why in the name of christ would I do something like that?

Yours was hardly the only name circulated. Pretty well the entirety of Serenwilde was also blamed. And others as well. What's laughable is how quick people are to make these kinds of accusations and then other people repeat them as if they were fact. I tried in IRC to tell people to hold off judging, but there's just no stopping the juggernaut sometimes. (Yes, I'm indulging myself in another "I told ya so" moment here, so sue me. Or nerf me.)

Avatars should... Drain power from the attackers into the Nexus they represent. The more attackers that are attacking, the lesser the drain. So, a 15% drain single could be become a 7% drain over all, rounded up, a 4% drain for 3, a 2% drain for four, and so on and so on.

No?

Heh. Joking.

There should be like some Guards or something that convert to the Glom side to protect the Avatars, you know, Pro-Glom Cenataurs and such, just to help them out a bit, though they'd probably get killed as well it'd make it harder to kill the Avatars until Glom gets their own Guards
Gwylifar2005-04-20 02:34:40
Well, not centaurs, but something. I'm guessing thorn beasts and spiders and such.
Unknown2005-04-20 03:02:00
That would be a wicked form of guard.. Instead of Elementals, Crow druids can summon spider guards, who lurk in the trees, and when enemies walk below, they grab and web them.. that would be a really really nasty surprise.. if you were glancing for guards and its just like OOPS! get snapped up, webbed, and rushed by a bunch more guards :-P
Unknown2005-04-20 10:48:57
Well someone said the Centaurs were originally from Glom or something so it'd make sense for them to go back there mellow.gif I think
Lisaera2005-04-20 11:07:14
Centaurs are from Northern Serenwilde.
Erion2005-04-20 13:41:37
No they aren't. =\\ They're from the Glomdoring. Check the histories. Rowena writes how they abandoned the Glomdoring just as they were beginning to gather to set up the cone of protection.
Lisaera2005-04-20 14:02:56
Oh, I see what you mean, from before the taint. Yes, the majority of centaurs at that time were in the Gloriana, but Nintoba led them to the Northern Serenwilde, which is now where they live.

Why would they go back? The Gloriana is destroyed.

Maybe Viravain and Moralis can convince them it's not -really- destroyed. doh.gif
