Give me some specific names that did?
If I recall, Magnagora had quite a few citizens in Lacostian's order. While Magnagora wasn't too thrilled at the idea of this, those citizens weren't forced to leave the order because of it.
I mean, duh. HELP LACOSTIAN pretty much says He isn't for or against taint, non-taint, etc. He just IS the Mysterial Lord.

Elaria and Shiro were the primaries, although Rhysus was against Him patroning the city of light because of His indifference. A lot of Celest hated it. T'was what drove Erion and Revan out of Celest, along with a few others (i.e. Amarantha).

Actually Elaria had hardly said anything about it Lord Lacostian in that way. She was surprised and asked a question about Tainted in His Order, saw the debate go on and ignored it whislt she was talking to Akraasiel in the Skarch. A few minutes later Erion came along and did his thing ^^;. Surprised Elaria/me a lot that did.

I wasn't there, all I was told was you and Shiro were screaming on CT, and it caused Lacostian to quit Celest.
So Erion and a couple other ex-Celestians killed you.

I remember there were three Mags, but only one of those I remember being ex-Celestian... Revan. I think another was Gol, and I can't remember the third. Either way... it sounds like that all happened over a misunderstanding Elaria hardly said a word. Ah well... I like the direction you took Erion in after, it worked.
Erion2005-04-18 16:31:20
It was Erion, Persephonia's hubby (Z something) and, yea, some random mag, Gol, probably.
Unknown2005-04-18 16:37:08
Oh yea! Zhaine, that's the one. Two rogues then. Better remembered than I. Still... Kudos to you for trying it

Well, if you follow the Geomancy skillset, the Taint is the essence of Death. But that is for us to know, and you to never. As for a Geomancers demense having all sort of nasty things attacking you, well, ever demense is like that. Unnatural and alarming, but then they are dealing with magic remember?
The Taint.. The echo of K's attacks upon our world, a pale shadow brought about by his presence. Almost like something he tried to eat and threw up. Most races and societies dislike the Taint because they are thinkings "Eh gads! That thing ate my grandparents neighbors and could get me! I love me, and I don't want to change like they have! Kill it quick!" So, those of Tainted orgin ran around and told everyone, "Hey, look, I'm like you. I didn't choose this. I never wanted it, but damn, it feels good. So lets just leave each other alone and keep living, k?"

Probably, before, Earth represented Life, while Shallamar represented Truth - or, in a more obvious sense, Peace/Love.

I got scared first time I entered a druid demesne with all the things active, even if I wasn't enemied. The feeling was like being in the middle of an alien planet full of sentient and hungry plant life.

Well, usually it's more like "I am tainted. I am stronger. I need your lands to make my empire, so join us or die". And let's make merian steak!

Orginally it was all of the Tainted trying to get everyone else to believe that they wheren't the living avatars of a soulless god. Magnagora tried to get everyone to believe that they weren't "evil", while they built up their army, and started taking territory. However, the lasted drive has been open aggression, since it seems those that aren't tainted are weaker than their ancestors where.
