My free version offers almost as much as yours Thorgal's, though I don't like GUI's and didn't include a parry system in the free version.
Thorgal2005-04-19 16:08:15
Isn't yours for mushclient though?
Terenas2005-04-19 16:37:33
But it's free!

I tried Ethelon's free MUSHclient system, but it carries with it too many "custom" settings such as highlights or triggers for specific skills I don't possess. Ultimately, I will be making my own MUSHclient system, especially since I don't like VBscript at all and I can't understand the use of triggers that call script functions with parameters that aren't used (i.e., OnAffliction(a,b,c)).

To my customers: When the update to the system with the new changes is finished, I'll announce it on this thread, after which you just have to message me your email address in-game, and you'll receive a new system in your mailbox.
Eiru2005-05-19 11:06:52
Thorgal's system is good, buy it.
Amaru2005-05-19 16:55:20
I agree, Thorgal's system is good.
Buy it.

Whatever... in any case, I've finished implementing all the curing changes, together with some upgrades like focusing spirit, writhing off a cross while aeoned, parrying, stancing and other assorted changes to enhance effectiveness, message me your email address in-game if you want an update.
edit: also added in the new blind/deaf/sixthsense changes, carry a vial of ibululu if you want to save some faeleaf, though it's not necessary.

Yeah, my system is for Mushclient, so if they use Zmud it's best to go with your or Amaru's system.

I got Murphy's system, with free upgrades, and the two best hammers I've ever seen for 100cr.
It's one of the better systems I've seen out there.

I have heard that Murphy's system includes all of his settings. Thorgal's is a binary settings file, too, but at least he's separated out most of his own code from the general use code. Both have the very nice graphic interfaces, too, eh?
I'm a purist who believes in giving out the text script and allowing people to import that or customize it and then import it. Keeping my changes in CVS sorta requires me to use text files, if I want to track them easily.

Yeah, I'm getting him to customize it to my settings, as I'm, an Ebonguard, not an Ur'Guard.
Amaru2005-05-21 19:32:46
Does Thorgal include his interface?
It's a great selling point.

Yeh I leave most of my settings in, the systems is very knight orientated, and if you are a bonecrusher you are gonna love it cause....well you've seen my logs. i'm not greedy though I just sell it to whoever asks me about it
Nayl2005-05-22 04:53:03
I do believe Thorgal includes the visual system, yes.
(At least, what he sold me did)

Thorgal2005-05-22 09:07:16
Of course I do, it's one of my main selling points. If someone's interested, I mail them a screenshot of the interface and a feature list documenting the system in detail.
Singollo2005-05-23 01:17:11
Hmm, I'm now accepting shameless plugs selling their systems, I'd love to be able to make my own, but the government has me wading streams for 40+ hours a week and I don't have the time, but would like to be able to play competantly!
Yrael2005-05-23 10:41:03
Murphy's is a decent system. It also contains his settings. And macros. And sometimes, goes utterly bonkers trying to cure insomnia. Or a crippled arm. But it's still pretty good, if a LITTLE sloppy (read, screws up at the worst possible times on occasion)
