I say we don't vote Xenthos just incase Soll is pulling a fast one, but don't vote for soll either incase he isn't pulling a fast one.

I suggest waiting on your vote for more information.

Adding more people now, after we've started, could make it slightly easier to determine the identity of the Seers/Guardians, since they'll be among the original group. Also, if one or both of the Seers has already checked on people and found them innocent Elders, you'd either be unable to recruit one of them or have to re-inform the Seer(s) with the updated information, and thus indicate also the likely innocence of the added people without the need to spend a night to verify them.

If we've got two people wanting to join, we're hardly into the game so I'd vote for restarting and randomly reshuffling the positions rather than simply adding them and continuing. Or, wait until next game.  biggrin.gif

doh.gif I never thought of that. But then, it isn't fair to the current players if I restart now either, even though we're only on Day 2. I guess they'll just have to wait.

Ah crap. :/ I said something to Xenthos I shouldn't have then. Can I get the other guardian to help me out here? halo.gif

EDIT: That's true. Alright, as you'll find out tonight, I am in fact a guardian. Gotta admit that now to save myself. I'll guard you, the other one can guard me if s/he trusts me. See I thought it was Xenthos, because of Laysus' random pointing, but he pulled a fast one and voted half and half. So...yeah. dry.gif
Soll2005-04-20 17:30:13
Shiri, you were on the list. I, for one, know there's a possibility you're a Soulless, and are hoping that the Guardians don't know each other, causing both Guardians to (unwillingly) guard you, so I am free in the night.
Soll2005-04-20 17:31:03
I won't force it, but I'd still suggest the Guardians, unless they know each other, Guard me. Taking a chance to split Guards between me and Shiri is dangerous.
Soll2005-04-20 17:34:29
I also don't know why you'd tell someone Laysus -listed- as Soulless, something that apparently you want only Elders to know. It could've waited until today, when I'd seen him.
Shiri2005-04-20 17:35:01
Summer's complaining at me, so I'll turn my edit into a post.

That's true. So...yeah. dry.gif

EDIT: STOP MULTIPOSTING. angry.gif

Anyway, the reason I told Xenthos is because Laysus pointed at me too, and obviously I know I'm not a Soulless. So I figured Xenthos wouldn't be either. Apparently, as I said, Laysus pulled a fast one.
Soll2005-04-20 17:36:46
You could -so- easily be doing a Xenthos. And you're using the -exact- same tactic as him. I said don't reveal yourself, and I repeated it after Xenthos. You could have mailed me that. Now I am very suspicious.
Shiri2005-04-20 17:43:55
As I say, we'll see tonight, now won't we? I could have mailed you that, but it should make people less suspicious if I say it out loud. I'm being checked tonight, so there's no reason to worry, eh?
Soll2005-04-20 17:52:42
If I don't get guarded, you are Soulless, and I die, then yes, there is reason for me to worry.
Daganev2005-04-20 17:53:34
I'm with shiri on this one for now. His supsicious behavior is now explained in the same way mine was, when I was a guardian. However, Shiri did outsmart everyone into making them think I was a soulless last game, so who knows.

who was the third person Laysus pointed at? Lets vote for them.
Daganev2005-04-20 17:55:53
I vote for Quidgyboo

If both Xenthos and Shiri are soulless then so is Quidgyboo.

If they arn't, well QUidgyboo is not likely a seer or guardian and merely an elder, so a safe sacrifice untill we know more.
Soll2005-04-20 17:56:09
Quidgyboo

That's true, Soll. Okay, the other guardian can protect Soll, and I'll protect someone random so that the Soulless assassination is less likely to work. By making myself obvious I should be less killable by the Soulless anyway, since I look guilty if they don't kill me. Reverse psychology or whatever.

Anyway, the reason I quote this post: roflmao.gif No, I didn't outsmart anyone, everyone sort of knew I was a Soulless but didn't vote for me for some reason anyway, it was so so funny. biggrin.gif

EDIT: I vote for Xenthos if it isn't obvious. And I didn't post it on the last page, 'cause I can't be bothered to check. whistling.gif
Daganev2005-04-20 18:11:49
OH great, now I just feel hated.
Shiri2005-04-20 18:13:22
...sorry. halo.gif
Jack2005-04-20 18:15:44
Pfft, surely I deserve some credit for voting off Dags.
Daganev2005-04-20 18:17:58
Pah.. Now I fee loved! this must be how manicdepressives feel!
Shiri2005-04-20 18:20:16
No, no, you can still feel hated, it was just Jack's random voting you off had more influence 'cause he was killed by the Soulless. biggrin.gif
