Im really quite curious from a sociological perspective, as Ive noticed a strangely high number of players, compared to other muds ive been to who claim to be GBLT, and would like to see some statistical data.

Come to think of it, only like two or three of the Seekers of Gaudi were strictly hetero (interesting discussions, ya ya).

Lets see the poll data!

Don't be so suburban. It's the new millennium. Gay, straight... it's all the same.

Who marked Transgender? wub.gif Ladyboys are awesome fun to hang out with.
Akraasiel2005-04-18 13:01:39
Umm the threadstarter... what a weirdo tongue.gif
Unknown2005-04-18 13:13:28
LoL.
Unknown2005-04-18 13:18:46
So is said "thread starter" a Ladyboy or.. what do you call a female transgender? Don't we just call those Tomboys... and isn't it kind of normal now?
Ps: this is not a hijack
Akraasiel2005-04-18 13:40:32
Im MtF. Just call me a girl... I kinda find the term ladyboy offensive. Meh.

*Waves his little non-existant flag*

I think rainbows are hideous. *color blind ANYWAY*
Unknown2005-04-18 14:26:43
What kind of colourblind?
Falasin2005-04-18 19:24:38
*prances*
'Nuff said.

EDIT: Erg, just for the less... observant among us that means gay.

So says Falasin.
Shiri2005-04-18 19:31:16
I kinda noticed that there are a lot more gay people in my guild here than there were in my Achaea guild. Of course that might just have been me being unobservant, but a couple others have commented the same thing. (And I've been a forestal in both games, so there's no correlation there, sorry. tongue.gif)

Incidentally, you're missing a group there.
Falasin2005-04-18 19:33:36
Other group? You mean male/female bisexuals?
Gwylifar2005-04-18 19:35:24
Hmmm, in my guild in Aetolia the straight couples were the rarity. Of course that's IC, not OOC.
Sylphas2005-04-18 19:38:05
So what if you're not fully bisexual, but not entirely hetero, either?
Falasin2005-04-18 19:41:50
Bicurious.

Well, a couple of groups then.

Curious, Ak (and others) what sort of numbers you are expecting. Someone threw out a percent number on IRC (don't remember what) and it looks like its at about 40% in catagories other than 'straight hetero' now...is that what you expected? Higher or lower? What is the comparison to RL population statistics?
Falasin2005-04-18 20:09:23
Well RL statistics show that 1 in 10 people are not straight.
Shiri2005-04-18 20:11:31
I thought it was more like 1 in 4 people are not straight, and 1 in 10 are gay.
Falasin2005-04-18 20:13:33
I dunno, I got these numbers a while ago back in my "Zomgwtf am I gehi?" stage.

That was a few years ago, they could have changed or I might just not be remembering correctly.
