I thought they refuted that it boosted magic damage. The magic defense is there, and Roark told us about toad curse, but I don't think it has any bearings on the effects of illusions.

It does affect damage that is typed as "Magic" in source, as I recall. I'm curious about the illusions thing.

How do you SLOW the effects of illusions? You mean a chance to resist? That's arts. :/

And I'm fairly sure we were specifically told magic doesn't RAISE magic damage...hm.

From what I know, you can't resist afflicting illusions like phantom, stalker, wounds, etc. And Arts gives you a chance to tell if an illusion casted is an illusion, not resist it.

Yeah, I remember someone told us it doesn't raise magic damage too.
