I really starting to question what is left undestroyed by this event.
Nyla2005-04-23 05:10:35
Faelings got upgrades!!!!! Yay!
Elryn2005-04-23 05:12:37
No, Faelings are now encouraged to go to Glomdoring or remain substandard.

They will become most common in the one place they should be most scarce in.
Shoshana2005-04-23 05:12:44
Blech, I really don't like the Ebonguard changes. It destroys the whole point of tiny little faerie people... Might as well have made a new race entirely.
Unknown2005-04-23 05:14:51
Yea I agree with Shoshana and Elryn, our poor Faelings got thrashed.. is nothing sacred anymore!?

I don't like this. I don't like it at all. Elryn, I think you and I may be the only faelings that will remain in Seren. *weep*

What about poor Dain? He is a faeling Hartstone. *pout*
Nyla2005-04-23 05:17:24
Its what I have wanted since forever... mmmmmmm..... shadow faelings
Sylphas2005-04-23 05:18:41
If I had known this, I'd have stayed Elfen just to avoid being a bitter wreck like I am now. I figured faeling were meant to be balanced without having to move to Glom, and if they weren't, they'd be fixed at some point. Now, unspecialized faelings won't get anything.

*mutter*
Unknown2005-04-23 05:18:48
TRUE fae aren't tiny though, Shoshana... Nymphs and Banshees and the like are relatively normal size, so, yeah.

And Elryn, you're treating Faeling like they're yours and no one else should have them. Serenwilde has specialized Elfen, who they were founded by, Glomdoring has special Faeling, created by Rowena drugging and raping a Fae. Only choice other than Faeling was Elfen, and that would have been redundant.

Also, How does just +1 int, +1 con & +1 size REALLY make a Faeling up to par? They are still going to have to fix dexterity and charisma, and, when they do, Shadowcaster Faeling really won''t be all that superior.

Oh, ok, just forget about me then! crying.gif
Ialie2005-04-23 05:24:13
I am talking about Dain.. the tutor. Our tutor is faeling like the druid one in glom is, What justifies them getting a specialiation there besides that? I mean whats the difference between a faeling learning Druidry in glom and a faeling learning druidy in Seren?
Nyla2005-04-23 05:25:25

Ever since the undead elfen Rowena Nightshade tricked Laeroc, Consort of
the Queen of the Fae into fathering her child, faelings who take the path
of the tainted Great Nature Spirits of Night or Crow transform into shadow
faelings, a curious breed of faeling, larger than others of their kind,
with a dark complexion that seems to churn with shadows, more bat-like
wings, and eyes that glow with a somber red fire.
Elryn2005-04-23 05:25:53
I just am really angry right now. Maybe I'll argue this more rationally when I am feeling a bit calmer.

Of course, by then I'm sure there'll be a change to Lisaera's order when we find out in fact she is a demon not a real goddess. I mean, that is still something I like, so I'm sure it has to change.
Unknown2005-04-23 05:26:25
They get it based on Crow/Night specialization, it just doesn't activate until they get Druidry, Wicca, or become a warrior. So, Crow/Night are what is different :-p
Athalas2005-04-23 05:27:09
What I don't like is a shadowlord faeling has more constitution than a elfen lord... sad.gif
Ialie2005-04-23 05:29:19
Well wow... guess I will just have to deal with it I guess.

I still feel copied with the twin thing, and the dark complexion.

*grumble*
