Patience and Faeling Pride... our time will come!
Jadryga2005-04-23 07:28:59
I mean look, they have over double the advantages an Elfen Lord does, have maybe equal advantages to, but none of the disadvantages of a Merian lord, are weaker, but almost as tanky as a Brood Viscanti without the sip penalty, and are tankier, faster, and equally as strong as an Aslaran without any of the disadvantages. Not to mention they have a sip BONUS, they're small, so they can writhe like mad, yet suspiciously tanky, and they can FLY.
Ialie2005-04-23 07:30:23
OOOOOOOOOH!!!
THEIR WINGS SHOULD WITHER!!
They are bigger so their wings can no longer support their weight.
So if they weren't able to fly, and their balance recovery went down a point or two. I would be happy.

Shoshana2005-04-23 07:33:42
Then they wouldn't be faelings anymore... Not that they really are now.
Ialie2005-04-23 07:35:36
They really aren't They are a bit bigger now, a bit stronger.. they are something else entirely. They shouldn't be flying around as a normal smaller faeling would.
Unknown2005-04-23 07:37:40
They should not be able to be called "faeling" in their honors, that would make me happy.

Lies, your nothing of the sort. Your like Broodlings, can you be the Shadowcaster Broodlings?
Ialie2005-04-23 07:43:23
You are a faeling of Mother Night and Crow. Not Mother Moon and Hart.

Please don't edit things and then try to make me out to be a liar. Its in my quotes.
Shoshana2005-04-23 07:47:02
I would have been quite happy if there had been another race, similar to faelings but not quite, because then I'd be able to be in a Glomdoring guild and stay a real faeling like I want to, instead of having to either go with these changes or not learn any wicca
Unknown2005-04-23 07:48:44
It's like I keep saying they are the poser-faelings, you can be Shadowcaster Poserlings.
Unknown2005-04-23 08:01:23
They do seem a smidgen overpowered, but I'll wait and see how the battles go before I whine too much.
Ialie2005-04-23 08:22:46
You know, every moment that goes by I think more and more of this and it almost makes me want to cry. Here I thought I had went and picked the best place for faelings to live in. Ialie left celest cause she felt she didn't belong there, she was a child of the forest and such, taint was a bit scary blah blah blah. So now there is a specialization of faeling in glomdoring which is kinda disheartening because the best place for Merians, is celest they have the specialiation. A Merian in the forests is kinda weird, as a Viscanti outside of Magnagora seems kinda weird. So now ... is a faeling outside of glom pretty weird? Will that be the norm?
I mean I don't know Its hard for me to explain I guess. I just feel I've gotten something taken away from me some how. Like.. I guess imagine that Magnagora was able to take a Merian and taint him and they became Mertaintians or something and got all these specializations that made them far superior to true merians.
*sigh*
Ah well

I understand completely, Ialie.
Edit: See, had it been Elfen that gained the specialization, it would have been slightly odd but fine. Because Elfen were equally suited to both communes.
Similarly if it had been a new race, the original Faelings would have still been equally suited to both communes.
Now, however, clearly Faelings are supposed to be in Glomdoring. Yeah, I chose a child of the Spirits of Nature to run around making all the forest rotting and sick...
