Well, I hope I am not forgetting anything, you all knew a poll like this was coming! It seems there is already a small Ackleberry movement forming, and there is already the Pro-Guadiguch clan, so I figured I would get your opiions on it all!
Oocly- I do not mind what comes out, I am just glad we can look forward to the fact that we KNOW change is coming, eventually.
Icly- My 2 characters do not yet have opinions, though one is wondering what all this Ackleberry talk is about, while another feels obliged to help free Guadiguch, since they are Dracnari.
Ok, your turns!

Gloriana's not going to happen, BTW.

I know, but I figured if I didn't put it in someone would hound me for it...
I see Lord Fain! He has an opinion! Right..?

Gods, let us recover from this event first. And I bet the admin are just as exhausted.
Terenas2005-04-24 00:28:33
I'd like the admins to set some time aside to look at the broken or useless abilities each guild currently possesses before developing new ones.
Unknown2005-04-24 00:33:00
I totally agree, I started this thread out of the spirit of boredom and about 4am...
I agree we could all use some nice sleep, administration especially so. Anyone who has ever been an admin (Builder and WQM here) knows what crunch times like this are like.
Also, I want to congratulate the Admins for sacraficing good sleep time for us!
We all you, and you know it.

The next thing I want to see is the druid guild for Glomdoring... *twiddle*
I voted for Guadiguch, but I'm pretty sure I will be entirely occupied for quite a while now and agree that the admin need downtime. I'm just going with the spirit of the poll.

I'd want Taurian/Orclach, or some new villages long before they even think about new cities/communes.
Singollo2005-04-24 01:02:36
We already have 4 places to choose, thats one less than Achaea and we're a far smaller game. No new Communes/Cities.
The producers need to look at game mechanics now.

since we all agree, what mechanics would you have be looked at first?
NOTE: This is not a poll for so called "whining" or "calling nerf". I just want a discussion...

Still, we're a far smaller world. I think we have enough cities/communes for now. Game mechanics should be worked on for sure. For content, I'd say introduce more areas. The world feels very small to me. Not mention that a third of our world is the Inner Sea.
Desdemona2005-04-24 04:38:29
For a geographic location, I'd like to see some remnants of a Taurian population somewhere... a village of ruins or whatever. I just have difficulty locating the Taurians completely, that a small trace from this nomadic tribe to be able to tell where they were first settled before engaging on their travels would be great.
Edit: And perhaps some light could even be cast as to why the Taurians became nomads.

Perhaps, but I feel we could do a lot better with smaller citystates here than the legions on Achaea, so more numerous ones wouldn't be harmful. The only trouble would be releasing all the guilds too early so we have less to look forward to.
Maybe that's just me.
Devris2005-04-24 04:46:21
It's gonna be a long time till you see another city methinks.
Just don't have the playerbase for that many right now..that's bordering on Achaea territory. Rather see time spent on new areas, ablities, and class/race balancing.

Yes, no new cities/communes for quite some time now (like a year at least). We actually pushed the Glomdoring Project forward way ahead of schedule based in large part because of player comments and desires. Whether or not you were satisfied with how things turned out (though I hope you are!), I can tell you (now that it's over) that this has been an incredible stress upon a lot of the admin, myself probably most of all. Players probably have no idea at what breakneck speed we tried to organize Glomdoring with an interesting event with plot twists, and have the skills coded in preparation for the commune opening. Many times we were coding or writing scripts up to the last minute (we still are actually). We've suffered some internal dramas and hopefully at least some of you are happy. Alas, we can't please all the people all the time, as much as we want to, but we did it and I thank most especially the volunteer admins who put up with my moods without whom Glomdoring would never have come to exist.

It's ok Estarra, we still loves you

Fix those races (I'd move this up in priority since its starting to get out of hand and is easier) and skills and we'll be just dandy. Good job on the whole new commune concept.
Elryn2005-04-24 06:42:24
Aye, however much I may personally detest some of the changes, they still show Lusternia is a dynamic and interesting world. I'm sure particularly the Glomdoring people will be very grateful for the work the admin have put in here.
