Sorry, Haja, but you are just the Golden carrot, and Raezon is the Forbidden Rabbit.
You are SO going down.
You are SO going down.

Bah, you must all have short memories. Don't you all remember that during the Kethuru event Hajamin saved ... umm, never mind.
Olan2005-04-25 05:46:38
Look, I think we can all agree that there is a line of intervention that is not OK to cross. However, it doesn't sound like Hajamin crossed it to me (not being there at the time). He said what every mortal should have already known, he just said it with a voice that most citizens were likely to listen too. So long as the help is judicious, infrequent, and in character, I think You are doing the right thing. I think you should also make clear your thoughts (probably later, at the time sounds like a recipe for disaster) about things like people calling for sanctuary after attacking because they are suddenly outnumbered. I don't claim to be honorable, but *I'm* not low enough to pull that crap.

That was Lord Lacostian! Can't deny it! I have a picture!

No one in my order did that... and if they did, well you'd see alot of pain coming. Hajamin... easiest way to describe it is... has a boarderline case of multiple personalities.

Sweet, two insane-like gods for the price of one!
Bricriu2005-04-25 06:28:11
Everyone has multiple personalities nowadays. We're increasing the population without the body count. :/

I want to disagree.. but I just found out that you're the one with the psychotic teddy of doom, so I won't.
Makes the world a bit colorful when people start to go insane, though I've seen insanity used so many times since Glomdoring opened up I'm starting to think there should be a new class introduced to Lusternia.
A class to trump all others in this world of growing madness. I vote, Celest should oust the Aquamancers guild, and start a new, more effective guild. The Psychatrists Guild. Imagine the damage Psychs could do to a world run by insanity.
Hajamin2005-04-25 06:34:41
By that I mean, he can be nice and even to a point playful. BUT He takes rank very seriously, and ofcourse he's the top in Celest/Paladins. Aslong as when he does give an order, it's followed there's no problems. Don't follow it, or worse talk back... Then the pain comes. Maybe very short tempered is a good way to describe it.
Bricriu2005-04-25 06:36:38
Slightly! You could also say, prone to mood swings, pass the midol and fritos, please.

Short-tempered? I would never have guessed. It took you a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time to do anything to Ancel after he kept going on longer than even the Energizer Bunny had a contract for.
I did get the feeling that there was a little duality in the play with Hajamin, though I never put much thought into it (or anything else it would seem.. need to fix that) or noticed really.

I don't know who is in your order, and I can't name every person who used sanctuary. I think every person I saw personally use it was Seren, but I'm not sure. Even if no one in your order did, if you are going to be an active and contributing leader in Celest, which it sounds like you are, I hope they are held to a higher standard of honour. As a patron and leader, all their actions reflect on you, and if the general citizens get all the benefits of your leadership without the burden of having to live up to your standards to some extent...well, I'm just talking now. You're the Divinity, not I.

By Estarra, my alternate is getting much pain then. She was against you being patron of Celest and talks back to everyone.

I don't know of the other groups, as I stuck to one most of the time, but I also didn't see them used that way. Though, then again, I basically tagged along with Kelly.
My/Aran's intent was to protect and help her should she need it. Didn't really work that way though, and was more like she protected me, until I got knocked down when we moved rooms and was murdered. Perhaps I shouldn't always go around shrouded.
But yes, Kelly wasn't performing an aggressive action, and was merely influencing. Indeed, I believe the only person who had any aggressive intents may have been me.
And that already makes it a moot point because to begin with I've hated scripting to play a game since I'm playing the game and not my computer playing it for me. So I'm only just now working on a system, and it sucks so far. To the point of where I get manhandled unless in a massive group, period.

I'd like to add that even with Divine help(?) Celest still proved to be incapable of gaining a village, getting in our damn way while we did most of the work trying to break and set up demesne, sanc key rooms, fighting off Mags and Glommies. Meh, just so frustrating.
106546
In actual fact, your demesne attempts sucked as much as ours besides the fact that Magnagora were concentrating on us and leaving Serenwilde alone for the most part. I fail to see how we got in your way considering we were stuck outside due to our lack of active mages. The only person we were able to hold was Sylvie which proved pointless anywho.
Unknown2005-04-25 10:34:48
Without Sylvie we would have lost way earlier. But once they had their demesne up and we were outnumbered like 4 to 1..yes it was hopeless then.
I blame it all one the mages, it always comes down to the one who holds the demsne wins

Everybody knows not having a demesne blows

Let this just go to show to you, that IRE customers have no idea what they want.
You have Achaea, where they are saying now (due to autoclass) that patrons need to take a more active role and give the players more influence. They are asking for a bit more divine interaction in other threads, and saying they don't see enough out of their divine for things.
Here, we jump on someone for being active. Go figure. I'm from the city opposite of Hajamin, and see absolutely nothing wrong with this. If he had come down and influenced himself, then I would be pissed. But telling people where to go is divine guidance, it happens all the time in books you may read. Look at any hero in Greek times that when in bad shape gets a little nudge from the God's in the right direction. I congratulate him for taking an active role, and that comes from a Magnagoran.

I am sure nobody though it was bad when Raezon guided Magnagora into kidnapping colts. Or when Viravain told glomdoring what to do to keep her FOREST. Or whem Hajamin and Terentia helped people in astral to recover shards.
I say this considering he didn't _do_ anything, just talk and gave advice. If you tell me he put magnagoran's out of game then I would agree that's too much involvement.

Even though I wasn't around to see exactly what is being complained about THIS time..
I think of it this way. At least the gods here aren't half as envolved as Gods in greek times.
Let's put Murphy out to sea and never see him for 20 years shall we?
