Heh..if you let it bleed, then clot, both your health AND your mana drops, so you have to sip health to keep up, while your mana drains dead from clotting.

If you clot prematurely, your health doesn't drop, cause you don't actually bleed, so you can just sip mana while you're clotting, quite simple.

With a powerful lunge, Daevos strikes at you with a exquisitely crafted
draconic broadsword. Daevos strikes deep into your left foot, pinning it down

crouch and can think of nothing but freeing your impaled foot.
You no longer see the world through the sixth sense.

You eat a stalk of faeleaf.
The sounds of the world gradually return to you.

You may drink another health, mana, or bromide potion.
Daevos gives his weapon a vicious twist and withdraws it from your body in a
shower of blood.
You eat a sprig of chervil.
Your bleeding slows as your blood clots.

You bleed 508 health.

There you go. I still bled for 508 after chewing down 2 chervils, and this was before the change.

So without 2 chervils at 20 bleeding each, that would've been 548 for two rends, or 275 per rend. Mana cost to completely clot is about 840.

For someone with artifact runes galore, that'll happen enough to drain mana. For the average knight, who can't get impale until quite a few combos in and will probably only get single ones, not double ones, much of the time, mantakaya on both swords will drain mana faster, but this'll still add to that.

Also, does it mean that novices who haven't yet mastered their totem specialization will regenerate only in pure forest?

I think for the sake of young Glomdoringers in training, maybe it would be best if no totem specialization means you can regenerate equally in both environments?  Less valid rp-wise, but not unfair on one side.

I actually think it does make sense RP-wise.
You regenerate in either environment, unless you've studied a specialisation that greatly increases your bond to either side which gives you more abilities but in turn makes you unable to regenerate in the "other" environment.
