That isn't kosher, and it's kind of sad, had I been at full health I probably would've survived Alger's hit right afer this because he was only hitting me for about 300-500.

And outside of a demesne, mages are fun to fight. I have more trouble IN them. Geb and I have danced a few times in the arena without it.

That demesne was crazy, 6 of us were trying to hit geb, and the demesne kept moving us around whenever he got low on health.

Well, I did move around a lot. I was not going to stand still while you guys tried to kill me. I also knew I would be the target, so staying in one spot would have been me using bone-headed tactics.

you did well, the demesne moving us around a lot was a big problem, but apart from that you used every skill you had to the best possible advantage...

I hope Athana is being sarcastic. Anyhow, I would not mind if demesnes were downgraded if my rune slinging speed and the range of rune afflictions I am able to deliver were significantly increased. Also, increase my defense from physical and elemental damage. Last, allow me to illusion before or after a single rune sling. Make me an Achaean apostate with a staff (and without the sight requirements), and I will gladly give up the demesne all together.

If a mage doesn't want to fight out of a demesne, then they don't. It's really up to the mage, since getting a good mage out of their demesne is nearly impossible, and if you're stubborn about it, you'll just be sitting for hours doing nothing.
