Straight Smirnoff Vodka(Original not this twister crap).
Singollo2005-04-27 17:58:17
Smirnoff Vodka is bad. Just bad. Get over your own testicles if you're drinking that stuff.
Roul2005-04-27 18:09:15
Omg Amaru. Port? That stuff makes me gag. I tried a Tom Collins a while back and wanted to kill myself to make the taste go away.

Etain, have you tried a lemon drop yet? You'd like it, if you haven't. =D
Unknown2005-04-27 19:02:35
I hear Port's really good with chocolate, but I haven't tried it.

Cape Cod is my usual drink (cranberry, vodka, twist of lime).

I also enjoy a Dirty Vodka Martini on occassion.

Some foods (steamed crabs) I enjoy with beer (Corona), though I don't like drinking beer on its own. Same with wine.

Occassionally, I enjoy straight vodka or tequila if its very high quality (though, who can afford it more than once in awhile).

As part Latino, having tried several imported beers, I must say I am severly disappointed in your taste in Mexican beer. Go with Dos Equis if you insist on drinking a mexican beer.

Wine: Any red spanish wine, specifically on the Rioja area, and only when I am eating something (meals, or just at a bar doing the before lunch snack). And in jazz concerts!

Beer: I think it's more a refreshment than an alcoholic drink, but in Spain we tend to drink a lot. Good for afternoon, and nights when you want to have something in your hand so people stop inviting you to drinks, but don't want a hangover afterwards. Guiness is entirely a different thing, the nutritive value of a meal in a pint, and tastes great! wink.gif

Mixed drinks: Gin-tonic and Mojitos (mint, rum, lots of ice, and I think soda and sugar). Maybe vodka with orange fanta if there's no decent gin around. White liquours only smile.gif

Hard liquours: None since I grow up and decided drinking that just to get drunk was idiocy. I just cannot stand the taste. And the hangover the next day.

Your girl drinks more manly than you! ninja.gif Cape Cod's are too sweet to me, but they are what I drank mainly in the early "sneaking in the club at 19" days.

and I'm only teasing you because you teased me about my fake martini!
Unknown2005-04-29 20:10:06
Too sweet? I'm not using a cranberry cocktail, I'm using 100% cranberry juice (which has less sugar than milk).

wink.gif

P.S. But yeah, I don't drink manly wink.gif I only had my first glass of wine, ever, less than two months ago, whereas she's been drinking longer than I've been alive wink.gif
Unknown2005-04-29 20:11:05
laugh.gif ninja.gif laugh.gif In that case, it is quite manly. I take back my earlier post.

and Etanru, you are too young to have wine unless it is for communion. I'm calling your parents.

Hehehe - I've only had one martini to date, and I cheated, using about 3x the vermouth my g/f likes.

What she seems to take some amusement at is the fact that I so far prefer red wine to white. I've liked the whites I've had with dinner, but I actually enjoyed the Merlot and Pinot Noir by themselves.

About to run downstairs and start dinner - Moroccan spiced (cinnamon, cumin, coriander) pork chops on a bed of apricot couscous with Sauvignon Blanc.
Amaru2005-04-29 20:23:53
