Damn guys blink.gif

What's so hard about getting a debit card from your bank?
Unknown2005-04-28 15:45:33
Meh, some of us have crappy credit...from being a total screwup when they were young *innocent*

But the 5 dollar credits...hrm...make it check only, and that obliviates the credit card fees. LOL and some of us could actually afford those tongue.gif

I said debit, not credit. Credit cards are just tools for tools to mutilate themselves with.

Heh. Every bank down here uses Debit/check card things. Which requires a credit check to get.

Maybe we just got funky banks down here *shrug*

I just don't feel like paying my bank $2 per month unless I keep a minimum of $500 in the account. And yeah, I was a poor student tongue.gif, and now looking for a (hopefully nice) job.

I got a free Visa debit card with my account *shrug*

The date I got it and the credit purchases are remarkably similar. tongue.gif

Damn, I'd have to pay 52 € for a credit card every year...
Jalain2005-04-29 21:54:44
I tried to get a visa debit card but.. they said my credit wasn't good enough..

One of only two times I've ever 'wtf'ed in real life
Summer2005-04-29 22:01:10
Isn't debit card = spend only the money you got in the bank? dry.gif
Sylphas2005-04-29 22:10:23
Yep. Debit subtracts from your checking account.
Summer2005-04-29 22:11:26
So why on earth do they need a credit check anyway? rolleyes.gif
Sylphas2005-04-29 22:16:06
*shrug* Mine came with my bank account. I had 0 credit history. Maybe it's just a weird bank.
Acrune2005-04-30 01:40:58
I got a debit/credit/ATM card when I got my checking account. Get a better bank tongue.gif

I HATE how Singaporean banks do that.

Maybe things are different in Australia, cause I had to fill out this big form explaining where my income is from, how much I get, when I get it.
Heh, in other news, I just got a letter from Master Card asking if I want a credit card.
