I'm just *dying* for Glomdoring...

Back to Common Grounds.

Actually we've more or less eradicated that.

Not that I particularly mind snuggling most of the time, to be perfectly honest, unless it's excessive, but it's gone anyway to a large extent.

(It's mostly angst about refills. Which applies even MORE here, because up until recently we had a more-or-less monopoly on it. People love their refills.)
Unknown2005-04-30 23:08:53
Well my character does not snuggle, he never talks about pie, he does (attempt) to make jokes. The only (prolonged) sexual joke he ever made was when panties were listed in the weaponry bin in the Guild Shop.
Athana2005-04-30 23:10:49
Panties -can- be used as a weapon.

Blackpearl Trademistress, Athana Xandul is here. She wields a pair of sparkly pink panties.

be afraid

Talking of newsboards, can we please sack Moralis and take away his newsboard privileges? If I read one more inane post about pie, monks, jibbering about what he is writing about, pie, his stupid accent, pie, and Moralis, I'm gonna scream. The thing is, he has great ideas, but he covers them up with a load of pointless crap.

Amen. I second the motion.

Now he's trying to get Glomdoring a motto. What happened to 'F'ai Glomdoring'? He claims it's 'unoriginal' and doesn't count.

Apparently 'Minister of Culture' means 'Chief Cheerleader'.

He is responsible for the morale of the commune a.k.a Head Cheerleader
Hazar2005-04-30 23:28:28
Hmm. Silly me. I thought it meant, uh, nurturing the culture.
Ceres2005-04-30 23:34:45
Moralis is stupid.

I just pretend not to understand him now.

Saves me alot of stress.

Serenwilde:      Read 1069/1069 articles.

Magnagora:        Read 259/259 articles.

Celest: Read 777/777 articles.

Don't really see the point of it being funny really.

The point, Aran, is that Serenwilde had a lot more political turmoil and so forth than Magnagora and (to a lesser extent, obviously) Celest, which were far more unified and organised. To a point, this is true, but there are other factors to consider, such as the larger amount of culture-orientated things in the Serenwilde compared to Magnagora, if you read the archives of all three.

That said, the trend is visible.
Why this is funny, however, is another matter, as people love to bring this up so often they either have inexhaustible senses of humour or are so full of themselves they want to point out one of the few flaws they can find in the structure of "the enemy's" organisation at every available opportunity.

YOU be the judge. biggrin.gif
Unknown2005-05-01 00:24:37
Actually, the point I couldn't see is why it was considered funny.

I didn't really take the time to consider what the importance of such a thing as newspost counts were, because it's not something I see as important.
Silvanus2005-05-01 00:26:11
Shiri, you obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

The sole reason why Serenwilde has more posts then Magnagora/Celest combined, is because they are forestals...

biggrin.gif

All kidding aside, the reason is because it was a "Commune" and people were to have "equal" rights.
Unknown2005-05-01 00:32:09
Stop taking away my freedoms! Down with The Man!

Etc.

Silvanus does have a point, that did play a role in the number of posts. Still, I don't see the number of posts as having any positive or negative value.

Morrigana was funny the other night. Moralis was talking... a load of crap basically... and then started singing. So Morrigana told him to sing everything so that we had a chance at understanding him.

PS Someone who can copy + paste past one of Moralis' posts on here. It's diabolical.
